Up-at-five
Please drive safely! The roads around here are not great and the wind has already blown over a 2-story bus on the Thruway but that was toward Buffalo, not the way you’re coming but do be careful.

You can always train your OTTBs to do this

Have a safe trip up-at-5!! It is blowing pretty hard here, but I bet you have more snow near Ottawa!
Just checked the original message
Louise, that was only one month ago! Hard to believe. So many horses moved, and some yet to be placed. It has been a remarkable ride!
up-at-5 - safe trip to Fingerlakes. I’ll be thinking of you and waiting for the post that says you are back home safe and sound!
False Impression - that was a cool video - agility for horses
FatDinah - I am sorry I posted that video of the grey mare…I just felt bad for her. I am glad she issafe.
I have been following this thread because I was really interested in Jo Cosmo until my husband kind of freaked out. I was hoping he found a home and if not hoping to find out he was at a farm for the winter. If anybody has any information on where he is this winter that would be awesome.
Marney, don’t worry about Jo Cosmo. He’ll be safe at home on the farm this winter. He’ll still be listed, and his trainer can still be called. Nothing bad is going to happen to that sweet boy.
We have a little more work to do, however. I just found out that two of the horses on the listing have been posted with the wrong phone number all this time. These horses aren’t in any danger either, but their owner would like to find kind and loving homes for them.
Both are older gentlemen, but still sound and ready to take you where you want to go.
Please consider “It’s SS Maria”
http://fltrainerlist.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=934
And “Land Attack”
http://fltrainerlist.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=935
It is the same picture for both of them!
Thank you Louise maybe I can work on my husband this winter!!!
Weird! I’ll never understand computers. No matter how many times I tried to put Land Attacks listing on that line, it kept coming up as It’s SS Maria. I actually had to space down a couple of lines to get it to take correctly.
Oh well, they’re still both extremely distinguished looking gentlemen.
False Impression, my eyes have failed me recently, but I don’t think they are the same pics. Am I missing something? (takes a break to clean reading glasses) One gelding has a short tail…really short, not to be missed.
And, I’m aging myself, but what the heck: I remember when these boys were earning their keep on the track!
Oops, I may be mistaken. Sorry.
I’m wearing my reading glasses and I see two different horses. Maybe the links are fixed?
I saw two different horses, both good looking 18yr olds for sure!
The links are fixed now. They both showed 934 originally.
Dratted weather! Skee Love is trying to get home in the Buffalo area, which has been hit with high winds and lots of snow. Shipper will try again today, but I’m not optimistic. One day left to get the horses off the grounds.
Stellaspeed is waiting to meet With Spirit, Rocket Lady and Devilshire tonight. Hillbilly Deluxe and Somewhereinbetween are heading for Virginia this morning. I’m so excited for everyone!
According to the reports on the news this morning, 390 South is getting hit. I’m wondering if it might not be better for the trucks heading south to go east to 81 and then south that way. Longer, but maybe safer.
I wish the weather wasn’t so ugly I would ride up and help you this weekend. It would be so awesome to help see all these horses off to their new homes
