The Horseware Ireland owner is a competitor. Things look even more unpleasant on the track now as the rain comes down.
ok thank youā¦wasnt sure if it was one or the other lol
I still liked the bit that the grand jury was in Washington, DC. Uhhhhh yea noā¦ (insert headsmacking emoji)
Em
Yes. Tom owns Horseware, and is competing as a member of our team. We went over to watch his group come in, and one can only admire the absolute professionalism displayed by Tom and all of the Team Ireland staff
According to anonymous sources at CNN, MSNBC, NYT, and WaPo, it was Donald Trump. LOL.
Very unfortunate and I am sure officials feel just awful about it, but it is hardly a disaster compared to what coastal Carolinians are facing from Florence.
Without wanting to speculate too much as I havenāt seen anything official I believe they were pulled at the vet check- could be lame or not pulsing down to parameters within the time limit most commonly or any other reason the vets deemed the horses as unfit to continue. But again thatās just what Iāve seen posted on FB not anything concrete
All logistics and errors aside, the UAE contingent, although the most knowledgeable contingent in endurance racing in the worldā¦are certainly not the people to police any event. In fact the officials needed to have to be at the top of their game to police the UAE and obviously they are not. Exponential mess.
I ride endurance and part of me isnāt sad over this. I wish we had no FEI Endurance here. If this Cluster is what it takes, so be it.
Iām with you. I donāt think most of these people would last twenty miles in the Tevis. And what is the deal with not letting that chestnut drink?
Itās rather ironic to hear a certain contingent complain about a lack of fairness and a concern about equine wellbeing.
According to this article about a Tryon Equestrian Partner, not so far-fetched. That being said, it was Giuliani

Exactly. I am sure there is talk about it being some type of conspiracy ā¦ hmmmmmm. LOL And also the huge concern about rain. I guess it would be disconcerting if you were from the desert.
I agree butā¦ I also think we just made a huge mess out of what could have been a chance to showcase what endurance riding is here. Instead we just look like idiots (not just the endurance portion but the whole WEG setup so far)
It was a 4* judge who was complainingā¦not a rider or team member
https://horse-canada.com/horse-news/chaos-weg-endurance/
Officials tried to stop the UAE 4* judge Ahmed AL Hammadi broadcasting his altercation with FEI officials on Facebook Live.
Check out the posts on this FB page too
Yes tabula rashah, but we both know it was never going to be like sending the riders over the Old Dominion course. That is what we should have showcased, but it would never happen in FEI. Thatās why it doesnāt even belong here.
I donāt know anything about this discipline.
It sounds like they do multiple laps around the same loop? With a vet check in between laps, and at the end? Is that typical for this format? Or just at this location? How long does the whole thing normally take?
Iām sure more details will come out. But wow. It seems like pointing them in the wrong direction at the start is a pretty big debacle.
He is a judge at this event? Or a judge who is at this event in a different capacity?
