Forgive me, I am new: Stormy Daniels

You feel sorry for her that she makes a ton of cash operating her own successful business? Why? Because you don’t approve of her choice of businesses? As far as I know it is her choice. She is not a victim of human trafficking or a drug addict turning tricks for heroin money.

Why do you feel sorry for her? Feathers got ruffled because this conversation wouldn’t be happening if she had a different job choice. Your opinion on her career path is why feathers got ruffled.

@Brown Derby how could you post that? Think of the children!

Wow, like I said’ I am SORRY I brought it up.
It’‘s a dang shame, in my opinion. Such a waste of a platform.
One of my favorite trainers used to say, “I am glad I’m not you”’. That is, what people think is importaint.
NOT who posted the video. I am glad you showed it to me
That kinda sums up my point and what I was trying to say in the beggining.

That if we could do what she does and ride horses it would be awesome!?

I would drop this science/professor gig in a second.

I agree. Way too much.

Not sure why some people jumped on you. I have asked what I thought was a simple question before too, and been pounced on. I tried to explain where I was coming from, but then people got more hateful. It truly was a legit question and I was genuine. I just deleted as much as I could. It actually caused me some real stress. Sorry about this.

Yeah. It’s happened to my right now on another thread. I meant no harm, but for some reason it blew. When it happens, trying to explain yourself at any great length is usually futile. And I have stuff going on in my life right now that is upsetting, so don’t want to overreact online because I’m upset about other things. For all I know, they may be upset about other things in their life, and are taking it out online.

In this sort of forum, we just never know.

My understanding based on an interview piece I read is that the bulk of her money comes from her production company, roles in vanilla films, and live stage shows. There isn’t a tremendous amount of money in the traditional adult film industry unless you’re one of the top female stars. So, yes. She is a shrewd business woman who is out there working hard and creating her own new opportunities.

She did a stage show at a club near me last year and I really wanted to go meet her but we ended up being out of town that week.

God bless you all and thank you for all of the responses. I actually would have been more disapointed if nobody had any opinions at all! Only in the USA can we do this. And I still say Stormy can ride.

Only in USA and over 100 other democracies around the world.

There are many many developed democracies in the world with higher overall standards of living, health care, more civilized public debates, less violence, etc. I live in one, and I lived in the USA for 7 years so I have some basis for comparison. And I teach American studies.

What the US excels at is the potential to get rich quick and get famous quick beyond the expectations of any other developed country. But the flip side is this happens in conjunction with a lot of other people really struggling to get by.

Stormy is one of the lucky Americans who has figured out a solid and original entrepreneurial niche.

I’m troubled by the lack of helmets. Otherwise, carry on!

You do realize that nobody’s qualm with your post was your assessment that the person in question is a decent rider, right?

And what in the world are you suggesting can only be done in the USA? Weird patriotic flex.

That’s what my think of the children comment was about

Lol! We should have T-Shirts made. “COTH. We don’t care. Just wear your helmet.”

I actually wrote to Breyer corporate after we got back from Breyerfest last week to complain about how many child performers were running around with no helmets. And in one case, galloping around with no helmet and sneakers in a saddle with too big fillis irons. It’s got to be a Western/Gaited culture thing. All of the English riders, including the FEI level dressage riders, had helmets.

@Wanderosa I fully support that! My friend who rides western saw a pic of me in my helmet and vest. He commented that I wear a lot of gear to ride. Well yeah I don’t bounce!

Now that looks like a spoof of Heartland, for sure! The trailer is total PG, I was disappointed  but I assume there is more going on via pay per view or however these things get distributed these days.
