So now it’s spreading to non-mobile devices?
I think maybe they did something that logged everybody out, for some reason.
I was trying to figure out why all the topics I had unpinned were back and I couldn’t seem to unpin them again. Finally scrolled to the end of one and noticed I was logged out.
This occasional log out behavior was common shortly after we switched to this platform, as they were working on back end things. I wouldn’t worry that the constant apple log out issues are spreading–the developers are probably just trying to fix stuff.
The developers have made some changes in cookies and the session settings, and in their testing it fixed the issue.
They needed to do a mass logout on the forum, so this change would take effect for every user who logs in, so everyone will be prompted to log back in again, which would explain why others were logged out this morning.
This issue should hopefully now be resolved. Please let us know if the logout issue is persisting for anyone.

I’ve been on a few times this morning and have not experienced the logout issue. It had been happening for me pretty consistently, so fingers crossed that it’s fixed!

So, I have not been logged out again yet but I’m experiencing a new glitch when navigating the site. I click on a link (a thread to view, Latest button, etc) and my browser (Chrome for iOS) briefly shows the page but then goes completely blank. The back button does nothing. If I hit reload it goes back to the previous page. I do stay logged in though. Is this happening to anyone else? It’s happened to me 6+ times last night and this morning.
I think they have been working on the web site as last evening/night and this morning at times all you got is a white page.
This morning I could not get any but that white page for hours, just now is back on line for me.
I expect they have several bugs to work thru and at times they have to get all off line to test things, maybe?
Just wanted to say that I have not had the logging out issue since the fix was implemented. Makes for a much more enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Yes, I think it has only happened to me once since then, and that was soon after the fix, so maybe my device had to reset first.

The blank screen thing still happens to me multiple times per visit, but if it’s just me maybe something is up with my phone.
It’s not just you. The same thing happens to me.
Also, while the logging out seems mostly resolved, I still get a lot of weird glitches when using my phone. The new one is I’ll be reading a thread and the page will jump me back up several posts without warning, repeatedly.

YES!!! It’s so annoying. I’ve found that if I keep a finger on the phone screen as I read, that holds my place most of the time. It’s so strange though and I shouldn’t have to do that.
This is the only website at which I have any issues. Makes me feel better to hear it’s not just me!
Something similar happens to me once in a while. But not very often.
I have to say it is a huge improvement not getting logged out all the time. Granted, that was an extremely first world problem. But it’s much more pleasant to use the forums now that it has been solved.
