Full seat breeches for schooling, without diaper butt

and available in Canada - bonus.
Give Kerrits a call to talk about how you might like the Ice Fil Tights & sizing etc - any Kerrits dealer in Canada can bring them in for you.

When I spoke with Kerrits & GH (the local Kerrits dealer) refused, Kerrits offered to drop ship etc.

They look like this in person. They have a little bit of a sheen to them, but not shiny Spandexy scary.

I have found the FITS oddly slippery in my buffalo leather saddle (no idea why, but definitely true). I like the Ariat All-Circuit (although I’m not sure if they make them any more), but I think these are the best for hot weather http://www.tropicalrider.com/product_detail.asp?p=98

I didn’t know about these- they seem perfect!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I look forward to more comfortable riding…
I just bought a pair of these this past weekend and don’t think they are worth it. I felt like they are thicker than just a pair of regular cotton tights/breeches and weren’t any cooler. Plus, they seemed really slick in the saddle. They have this carrot supposedly grippy stuff everywhere like fullseats would, but were so not even close to grip as a pair of fullseats, or even a plain pair of my cotton knee patch. The only thing I could say is they may have dried quicker, but they were not any cooler. I was pretty disappointed given how much I like their ice fil shirts.

ETA- the waist band is a lot larger, but I felt like the rest of them fit like their other tights. So much so that I felt like I had to keep hiking them up to get them up. I will say they are really soft. I’m really heat sensitive and sadly don’t feel like they will help me with summer heat/humidity.

I love my Kerrits CrossOver breeches!

What is the waist band like on the FITS? Do they have any low waist versions?

Scroll down for the woven Signature full seats.

They won’t be here until fall, but these are going to be awesome! There is no diaper butt! The breeches are already available and the response is very positive!

In the summer, I use the Tropical Rider tights with extended patch --starts below knee and runs all the way thru the crotch of the pants, but not on the fanny. I wear full seats in cooler weather, but I hate the diaper butt feeling of sweaty soggy full seats in the summer.

those are really really pretty!!

I’m going through the breeches slump right now too.
Doing my best to find breeches that fit a normal person (no hipsters or breeches that only fit if you have tube shaped frame)

Those new LTs look awesome. Wish they came in beige and no full seat.

Great deal on FITS Treads Windpro breech today… I know they’re winter breeches but that’s a great price!http://www.tackoftheday.com/product_p/too-fits-windpro.htm

Imagine the look on GM’s face when I submit my photo for Jumping Clinic
Especially if the gals aren’t haltered

Any feedback on Sticky Seat tights? Boy, am I reading this thread with interest. You guys have covered all my terrible bases. We have got to find a pair of breeches to ride in summer weather!

I’d love to find cooler breeches, but anything labeled “tights” esp. pull ons, just look awful on me. Is it even possible to find a breech in a material that is cool, yet structured enough so it doesn’t look like sausage casing?

I have given up on this hope. I am no longer willing to suffer the Inverness Problem for the sake of vanity in my day-to-day rides. The Kerrits knee-patch pajama-soft breeches feel great, are cool etc. and show every lump and bump and underwear line - and I don’t care.

The icefil tights are about 3x thicker than the regular kerrits tights.

Unfortunately, those thick structured fabrics come from a cotton or polyester content that is not really compatible with being cool and breatheable. The new icefil tights are the closest thing I’ve found to feeling like I’m wearing actual athletic apparel while riding.

If you keep scrolling, the Devon-Aire Signature (not LT…that is just my initials!) do come in knee patch and in a variety of colors, including University riding team colors! People are surprised to learn that these are Devon-Aire! They have really taken things up a notch while keeping it affordable!

Not sure how they will feel in 90 degree weather, but I’ve already ridden in almost 80 degree temps this year in my SmartPak Piper full-seats, and I absolutely LOVE them. I normally hate full-seats, but these are amazingly comfortable.

I use running pants in the hot weather. Some of the pricier brands look like full seats and most of the time no one is any wiser. I can’t stand heat and find this to be the best option in hot hot weather.

Not full seat but I have a pair of Ariat Brittany’s now that I think of it that are super grippy but breathable. I love them.

I’m a recent convert to FITS breeches. I just got the Duet full seat breeches in grey and I LOVE them! Oklahoma tends to be sticky/humid in the Spring and unbearably hot in the Summer. I prefer these now because of the vented lower leg area - my half chaps always make me sweat but the vents in these help a ton! Also, the fabric wicks away the moisture really well and the perforated full seat patches that are also segmented seems to keep me cooler than the other solid-seat breeches I have. Plus, they are super comfortable!

I just bought a new pair of the zip up style, and they seem a lot lower rise than my previous pairs so they may be worth trying out. The older pull ons tended to have a higher waist, but then again I have very little torso so they may fit much lower on a normal person
