If that is the horse in question I have to disagree with the OP. That horse IS SPECIAL. The horse might not be fancy, or a world beater on the A circuit, but any horse that will still jump with a rider riding it like that hanging on to his mouth, missing most all her spots and still take a joke is worth his weight in gold.
If that horse can deal with that sort of riding he shouldn’t be to hard to sell. Someone in Fla who sells for a living ought to be able to find a buyer easially even in this trying market.
I am looking forward to the OP letting us know if 198 is in fact the horse…these damn plain bays are hard to match…I narrowed it down from rider 61 and 215 because of rider size etc.
My source from the show also believes it is 198 as they say the intended child buyer on that horse…
the christmas card had the rider with a GPA with a silver stripe and 198 matches that…as for the 4H show I will find out where that will be too
I think you misunderstood the OP. She meant “special” as in isn’t going to be champion at WEF type of special. Why are people nitpicking this so much?? She isn’t insulting the horse, geesh. And remember this isn’t the OP’s horse.

I only found one Jacksonville show that is north florida hunter jumper and Hillsborough as a 4H type show at Lake Park Arena in Tampa. Other than that I can not find anything that fits…

If he comes home let me know - I have a young rider right in my own home looking for a hunter - however Kimberwickes are NOT allowed o/f at my stables.

What a sweet and kind horse!!! They are totally gonna try to get his price down, but I wouldn’t fall for it. Owner can just refer to these public photos and argue her point (if she would)
