Is there a way to save this thread, as reference for future use? I love some of the letters that have been posted, they are professional and straight to the point. Also, the horror stories will keep me humble at all times. 
Hey guys, lets back track a bit. Didn’t the seller get a deposit check? If she did, why was it never cashed??? I always cash a deposit check otherwise it is a worthless piece of paper and not a deposit on anything.
I vote for Cinco De Mayo so they can use the horse all winter AND spring.

I think (it’s been a while, so I might not be remembering correctly) that there was some confusion about whether there was actually a check in the buyer’s hand… She might have just told epona that.

So then, I ask…what is the point? I don’t recall ever having to be talked into buying a horse. I generally was being talked out of it rose colored lenses firmly strapped in place!

i must have read it different i thught she couldnt cash the check till the 15th jan as they told her not to–

I have been quietly watching this thread and have never felt so frustrated as all of you are. Methinks that this girl has had a lobotomy at one point in her life? IIRC, she got a check for the entire amount, to be held until after January 1. Since the buyers will have noticed that it is now well after January 1, they must either have put a stop payment on said check, or told silly cow not to cash it, which silly cow has apparently not done. :no:
