Why am i still receiving notification for people subscribing to my profile & activities. When i don’t have the box subscribes to you checked.??? When i did those setting i clicked saved, so i shouldn’t be getting the notification on people subscribing to me.

It’s soooo slow! On iOS Safari. It should not take multiple seconds to load a page when you hit a back button.
I hate the new site and don’t come here much because of the change. The old site was so much better.

One more request…
in the iPhone mobile site, the “jump to first unread post button” is very tiny and wedged tightly between the avatar of the poster and the thread title. It’s impossible to hit without zooming in 5x or more. The “view last post” button is still tiny but since it is floating out at the end of a line with no other hyperlinks it’s pretty easy to press. Can we move the other button to the beginning of that same line instead of in front of the thread title or otherwise somehow make it more tiny touch screen friendly?
Yes, this is perplexing and frustrating and has no relation to user internet speeds. Why so long to load?
@Moderator 1 I am probably late and it was discussed already, but I struggle with PM and visitor messages and chat. I have no idea what I do and when I answer to something I don’t know where it goes. It there any instruction for using these functions??? Thank you so much!!

PM and chat seem to be roughly the same thing, and are like the PMs in the old board. They’re private, so no one but you and the recipient (and mods and whatever on the backend) can see those.
Visitor messages are a different thing, and they’re public. I can see your visitor messages when I click on your profile and scroll down through your activity.
To access your PMs/chats, click on “messages” in the upper right hand corner. You should get a little drop down that pops up that lists your most recent PMs, along with “send a new message” and “go to message center.”
If you click on a recent message there, a pop up window comes up and all messages sent or received in that conversation are there, threaded. You can reply from there or read previous messages.
If you click on “go to message center” you go to a new screen–the message center–where you have more options to manage your PMs. To the left you have inbox, sent, add a folder and trash. To the right you have your inbox preview and if you scroll down you’ll see requests preview and notifications preview, too. You can click on the PM subject here to go to the conversation, or if you click on inbox, you get the list of ALL your PMs. Conversations are still threaded here–all sent and received messages “roll up” under the subject. To see any sent or received message just click on the subject and scroll through. You can reply by going to the bottom and typing in the box.
To send a new message, you can go to “send a new message” and type in the username. Or you can click on the little white chat bubble that’s to the right of any username from within a thread, and that will also start one.
If you’d like to see your visitor messages, go to your profile and click on the “filter” drop down that’s under the activities tab, to the right. Select “visitor messages” and they should all pop up–those left for you and also those that you have left for others.
To leave a visitor message, you go to another user’s profile (click on their user name) and type in the “write something here” box.

It helps me Simkie, I was having the same issue as Manni and I gave up. I’ll give it another try. I kept trying to answer a pm and my message posted to it instead of “sending” it.

How many pm are allowed ? … before it states your pm box is ‘FULL’
If your message “posted” to the private message thread, I think that does mean the other user should be able to see it 
Kind of like our threads here, on the main part of the board…just private. If you’d like to test, feel free to send me a message by clicking the little white chat bubble over there <--------- by my name and we can see how it goes :yes:

I wonder about this also. But i’ve pretty much given up,not getting anwser’s so i don’t come here but in morning then done.Might just quit coming on here altogether.

Hey @Zu Zu can you post a screen shot of what you’re seeing from your iPhone? A few people have said there are problems, but no one has provided a screen shot. If you could show the mods and devs what’s going on, that will go a long way toward solving the problem
I agree and have said so before, several times, that it is slooow to change pages.
Someone said it is because of the avatars, may be or not, but sloooow it is, for me too.
I find that the new forum is especially slow to log-out; much slower to log-out than to log-in.
Not a problem for me,but i’m finding it does no good to complain nothing is getting answered. There’s still Glitches and my guess, they will continue to be a problem.
