No i wasn’t saying you were complaining. It’s just here recently nothing is getting answered Mod 1 hasn’t been on here since march 1st, or at least hasn’t posted anything. Things are slow to get fixed yes certain things were fixed fairly fast. But this new site isn’t great not mobile friendly still.

Apparently they addressed the font thing,i see no change in it seem the same to me,maybe it was wishful thinking on it. Zu Zu has asked about PMs if there’s a limit before inbox is full, has yet to be anwser on it. I’ve told of issues with notifications have YET to get an answer or a response on it.So i just turned off all notifications tired of getting ones i DIDN"T have checked. IMHO after a while one gets annoyed with it.

Logout and login is slow slow slow.

A ton of things have been answered. Heck, they even fixed the funky font issue last week. Some may then take their annoyances out on you for not agreeing with them.:eek:

I have seen the pages being tweaked for darker borders, for font, for all kinds of glitches.
That doesn’t just happen, someone is back there working on that.

Are there still some problems?
Yes, they are, patience seems to be one more glitch here, on the other side, maybe?

I will add one, again, have mentioned it before, that I can’t go by who is listed as last on a thread, because half the time there may be already more posts than that.
The function that lets the last poster show in the main forum page is still not working consistently.
I expect that is a tricky glitch to figure and fix, but hope someone is working on that.

Also, how slow pages change, that waiting is annoying today, when we have so many other out there that changes so fast, so we know that can be better.

Those two make cruising COTH take more time than it should, but lets remember we are here as guests and, truly, should be thankful for the platform provided for our entertainment.
Lets also thank COTH for that.

The new site continues to be cumbersome …yes ‘small’ in this world
but many of the usual functions STILL are non- existent
these threads … requested poster input

we have been patient

The frustration is turning into posters just giving up and leaving.

I believe the Coth posters would like to hear
from the person/ persons in charge or overseeing this new site development

That is strange, indeed.

I can see yours, nicely enhanced by the bright red color.

There is a function you can click on that permits you to have avatars and signatures and to see those of others.
Maybe try clicking on that on and off and see if it self re-sets?

One more glitch for the computer gurus to look into if not.

My apologies for not being as responsive as I’ve tried to be previously. I was away for a few days for a family vacation and returned with the flu, so I’ve been admittedly minimally helpful.

This week I’ll work on getting an updated list of outstanding issues processed.

Like Bluey said, if you can not see your signature it is most likely you have that setting turned off.

I thought this was interesting (screen capture attached). I have not ever seen a thread highlighted in red and say - Unapproved, Deleted, Closed: Started by Guest. Topic deleted by Unknown.

Edit to add: This is not an issue, this is just an ‘wow this is different’.

Does that mean that now posters can delete a whole thread they started?

That will take the fun of trainwreck threads, when the OP can take their toys and go home if they don’t like the responses, that then would go poof.:lol:

No clue. I am thinking not. My guess that thread was spam or something. They just usually do not show up at all after they are deleted. But it is something that should be checked. It would not be good if angry people can just delete entire threads.

No, posters can still not delete their own threads. I’ll have to reconstruct that one. I may have just deleted a spam thread via a weird method in the fog of illness!

Good to know, there is much to learn from all threads, even those that take odd turns.

I had the flu twice decades ago and will say, the flu is evil.

Can you explain or show us what you’re talking about?

I don’t have this problem with the way I view the forum, so quite curious what you’re seeing. Are you looking at “today’s topics” instead of the main forum page?
