Notifications issues, i unchecked all notifications then went back and checked ones i wanted now the notification icon isn’t showing. I unchecked all because i was getting notification i hadn’t checked, by unchecking all it stopped that. Now it’s messed up and the icon isn’t there. Here’s two screenshots of notification i currently have checked and screenshot of the no notification icon. I use Windows 10 and Chrome. I have found the new site to be quite slow loading. Is there a compatibly issue?
Slow for me on Safari also.
I think there has been a glitch with it being slower than it should be from the start.
@tazycat What icon is now missing? Want to be sure we’re in the same page as I review your screen shots. Thank you for providing them.

I have sent inquiries regarding the speed. I find it is particularly slow when navigating to and within the Message Center.
@tazycat I see what you’re saying now…the “Notifications” link is no longer listed in the tool bar at the top of the page. That IS weird.
Can you see it when you’re on a computer or is it only missing when you’re visiting on your mobile device?
Are you still receiving the notifications you’ve now subscribed to via your message center, accessible via the Message link in that tool bar?

Notification link is missing on computer also not just on phone. I did receive notifications through the message link from your tagging me. Notifications are hit and miss on receiving them sometimes i do, sometimes i don’t.
I’ll find i’ve been quoted because i re visited a thread. But will have no notification from it. Logout is very slow so is login.
When i click on users online pages don’t change i get a The www.chronofhorse.com page isn’t working. That’s from both computer & phone. Computer runs on windows 10 google chrome phone is on google chrome.

Hey @Moderator 1 question for you:
In the previous version of the software, when I got an email notification of a PM, the entire PM was sent via email. That was awesome–I use those emails to archive my PMs.
The PM box is bigger now, which is super cool, but the email notification no longer includes the entire message…just a single line preview. That makes it pretty useless on the archive front 
Would it be possible to bring back the full PM via email as notification? Or is that no longer an option?
As far as I’ve been able to find, the only way to send a PM is to start a new message in the PM tab and type in the recipient’s username manually, or to click the little speech bubble next to their name on one of their forum posts, but doing so makes the subjectline of the PM “chat about [insert name of thread the post was on here]” and it doesn’t give any way to change it.
Am I missing something?
@tazycat At any point since the relaunch of the site, have you cleared your cookies/cache for the site? You’ll have to re-enter/re-remember your password, as it will clear that out too, but it might help address some of these behaviors you’re experiencing from the site.
Here’s one site that gives directions on how to clear data for just one specific site (so you don’t lose your saved passwords on other sites).

I think the abridged format has reduced the number of people who have mistakenly tried to reply to their PMs by responding to the email notification of the PM.
I used to use PM notifications to archive messages too, though, so I know where you’re coming from.
When initiating a private message/conversation from the bubble next to their username in a thread, the title of the conversation will be the name of the thread you started the chat from.
You can also start a new PM with a title of your choice by clicking on Messages to the left of your username near the top of the screen. You can either click on Send New Message to take you directly to a message composition screen, or click on Message Center to take you to your full Message Center where you can go to your inbox, start a new message, etc., pretty much just like on the old site.
@Moderator 1 I cleared cache & cookies wiped out everything still no notification link showing. Did same on phone and no notification link there either. After i messed with the notifications the link went poof.
This morning I know there are some new posts in different forums, but the only ones showing in the main pages are from yesterday?
That has been happening all along.
When the last post is not showing in the main page, it makes it hard to tell where any new post may be.
Is the forum running really slow for anyone else today?
Yes! Just got on here first time today and noticed it immediately. Thought it was my internet but other sites are working normally.

I thought it was just me having that happen. Replys are taking a long time to post. Taking long time to load pages.
