George Morris on the SS list

Where did you read this?!

Who was it with a list of like 172 questions and was going to “talk to him at his office?”

A poster on the thread specifically for the live stream said that lady was Rob Gage’s SIL. The laughter of the crowd with that question and insistence.

The USHJA facebook page posted that it will be available on demand. I tuned in late but was able to rewind back to the start of the Q&A portion of the presentation. That presenter has the patience of a saint, and I agree that the questions that were asked were a gigantic embarrassment to the hunter/jumper community.

That was Kathy H. Have no clue how to spell her last name. She was the first to start an anti Safe Sport group.

Someone who no doubt will be referred to the Safe Sport information that already exists, or perhaps to USEF whom have hired communication experts to explain Safe Sport to those members who still don’t get it.

I didn’t hear heckling but I did hear laughter at some of the questioners who repeated questions that had already been answered but who seemed to be unaware of that fact.

@skydy I put the laughter and comments from the crowd into the heckle category

That’s how I took it. Though I thought that perhaps someone said something that I missed, in response to the idiocy.

Kathy was the first to show up with the go fund me for pamphlets and plane fare so she could go to D.C. to present the pro pedophile lobby.

That was Kathy Hobstetter the leader of the Reform SafeSport group, not Diane Carney’s group.

I don’t think it was his sister in law, but she was the source of the fee story.

Interesting… on BN’s fb she insists there is a fee. Comments are interesting.

I was there until 6:15 local time and the presentation was great. Mr. Henry is an excellent speaker, addressed every issue that people have been questioning, and has the patience of a saint. Unfortunately I had to be on a conference call and had to run out before the last couple of questions and Mr. Moroney speaking. I took notes and pictures of the powerpoint presentation if anyone has specific questions.

Once again for the people in the back, that is if you want arbitration to hear on your temporary suspension, not the Safe Sport investigative hearing.

…and you get it back if arbitration decides in your favor, and there is a hardship clause and and and…

It all was explained very well by Mr. Henry. I don’t know how he could have answered questions or explained the process more clearly.

Perhaps the communications people (that the USEF has had to hire to dumb it down for those who do not understand) can get through to the people who still are unable to comprehend the rules and the process.

Thank you Mr. Henry, Mr. Moroney and Ms. Babick. You did well.

Thank you!

I watched the whole livestream of the event and I am glad I did… Mr. Henry was fabulous. His explanations were very well explained. He kept his cool through the really ignorant comments/questions and answered them with clarity and respect. The crazies revealed themselves. KH did not distinguish herself and another woman asking questions sounded intoxicated. I liked what Mary Babick said about having spoken to victims. And last, but not least USEF finally made a statement via Bill Moroney,

You are welcome!

I’ve had many concussions and thankfully I was able to comprehend the Safe Sport literature and the excellent explanation of Safe Sport by Mr. Henry.

Some people don’t seem to be capable. You are. Protect that brain!:slight_smile:

And she even posted the arbitration notices and tries to conflate two things. The first one is the information for an arbitration hearing on temporary suspension measures. The cost for arbitration in that matter is $1500, of which the respondent pays 1/3, so $500. The second is for arbitration of a finding of code violations, which is $5200. She says, “This is an older case, when it was $5200.” As if they are the same thing. But her fan club doesn’t have two brain cells between them, so they can’t parse out those tricky details. And that convicted sex offender Jim Giorgio is cheering her on.

All those people who say, Of COURSE they are against sexual assault, it’s just that Safe Sport is so bad, should wonder why their leaders need to lie about it and allow a guy who actually DID assault a minor child and get a criminal conviction to cheer them on. I mean, when they want the courts to handle it, this is the guy they are talking about. Yet they keep him with them in their corner. Speaks volumes.

My neurologist and I believe that I have had more than 20 concussions over the years, so yes, I wear my helmet. I rely on emojis or GIFs to express any head banging… 🤪
