There are people being killed, displaced, injured, reports say PS is helping, this is a good thing, but no, you can’t support a humanitarian gesture.

Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Just because you don’t agree with someone’s practices doesn’t mean that you should disparage them at any chance you get. What have you done for the horses in Ukraine?

Reflect on the fact that you would rather SPECULATE and GUESS as to whether or not I donated to Ukraine then hush when someone provides proof that many in the world consider this man whom you’ve elevated to a pedestal is a known animal abuser according to media reports from all around the world.
By all means, run with that.
He, nor is any other person, on a pedestal for me.
But whether or not those statements that people have made about him are true, he is using his money, his time, to help people and equines in need.
Being able to acknowledge that he is doing good and that it does not need to be disparaged or linked to his practices is a skill you seem to not have.
There are, and always will be, people in this world that you will not like and not agree with. But constantly pointing out their sins will not make the world a better place.

Doing something generous and good of course doesn’t erase any negatives. However, just like in training a horse, I believe in rewarding the try and appreciating good behavior. Additionally, holding a grudge against someone for 32 years (poling…and the 2021 part of your post has nothing to do with Schockemohle other than a reference back to his issue in 1990) and hating them because they used rollkur at one point (which, for the record I am also against) and using those as a very poor excuse to negate rather than applaud a wonderful and generous gesture to help people? Wow. Just wow. I cannot imagine being so bitter and judgmental. I wonder what it is like to be so absolutely perfect?

He continues abusing horses to this day. Like I posted I just picked the 1st few things that popped up. By all means let your fingers do some walking and google his name and rollkur.

No one is erasing anything. There are people who I do not like, who I think have done horrible things, that are helping in the Ukraine war and I applaud them for that. I may not agree with their past acts but I can appreciate them providing help.
On top of that, should we constantly hate on someone for something they did years ago? Or are you so perfect that you have never made a single mistake in your life?
Maybe don’t dig though someone else’s skeletons when yours are falling out of the closet.
