There is only one set of footprints in the sand now.
Dublin and David he is carrying you both now.
My heart is so heavy and sad for you both.
Time ,it is all about Time. Everything in it’s time.
Whether we understand it or not.
David- Thank you for posting and sharing your feelings with us. You and the rest of DDs family have my deepest condolences.
It is nice to know how much she was loved and that she is now pain free and doing all the things she loved to do.
I am sure she will be watching over all of you!!
For you Dave:
I’m Still Here
Friend, please don’t mourne for me
I’m still here, though you don’t see.
I’m right by your side each night and day
and within your heart I long to stay.
My body is gone but I’m always near.
I’m everything you feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free, but I’ll never depart
as long as you keep me alive in your heart.
I’ll never wander out of your sight.
I’m the brightest star on the summer night.
I’ll never be beyond your reach.
I’m the warm moist sand when you’re at the beach.
I’m the colorful leaves when fall comes around
and the pure white snow that blankets the ground.
I’m the beautiful flowers of which you’re so fond,
The clear cool water in a quiet pond.
I’m the first bright blossom you’ll see in the spring.
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I’m the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine,
and you’ll see that face in the moon is mine
When you start thinking there’s no one to love you,
you can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I’ll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees,
and you’ll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.
I’m the hot salty tears that flow when you weep,
and the beautiful dreams that come when you sleep.
I’m the smile you see on a baby’s face.
Just look for me, friend, I’m everyplace?

May the Dear Lord bless and keep Dee Dee close to him, and grant her and her family and many loved ones comfort, peace, and release from pain.
All her loved ones who have gone before here will be waiting, including horses and all the other animals. They will be reunited across the bridge.
coreene I agree. DD say Hi to V from me. I’ll keep working to make you both proud.

The ancient Greeks did not write obituaries. They only wanted to know if you had a passion.
…large sad sigh.
Godspeed Dublin, go with peace.
Oh god…
Dublin, I hope that you will look down on us, and know how incredibly you are missed, and how much we love you
Prayers to send you safely on your way, Dublin, and to comfort those you left behind.
If you see my feisty chestnut gelding and little chesnut mare with the flaxen mane and tail waiting at the bridge, tell them I love them. And if you want a fun ride, full of surprises, hop on either one of them.

somewhere beyond the clouds
and far above the sky
you’ll be watching down on us
as we cry and say goodbye.
to our loved dearest friend,
we’ll pray for you every night
you’ll forever be in our hearts
and we’ll never forget your fight.
your memory will always remind us
of your strength and of your will
and that there’s always more to life
our dreams we must fulfill.
you’ll always be with us
to you we’ll always stay true
and please never forget–
we’ll always remember and love you.
Faraway, I always loved “Vaya con Dios.” Go with God, my sweet friend.
Dave, Dee Dee’s straight line from bit to elbow, which is also the straight line from Heaven to earth, is also many many lines coming from all of us straight to all of you. We love you.
I am so sad for all of us as well as Dublin’s loved ones and close friends. I only had the pleasure of knowing her here, on this board. She was and is like a shooting star - we stand in awe of her brillance (especially her wit!) and are warmed to our very souls by the glow of her existence. Many, many condolences to the ones she loved and who loved her.

Oh boy, crying at work again…
Jingling for Dublin and her friends and family today…
Gob Bless You Dublin.
I never got to know Dublin the way some of you did, but I am deeply saddened that we have lost such a special member of our family.

There are so many firsts from posters, it is truly amazing how many people Dee Dee touched in such a short time. Would that any of us could have made this horrible disease go away. Her leaving of us, will leave a hole. A tremendous one for me. But, because you are my friend, dearest one, I wish you freedom…It is a beautiful day, one which I know you loved, all the beautiful colors…Blues, greens and warm yellows…
So be off, be free…We ride for you

I wish I could write as eloquently as everyone else. I am at a total loss for words.
Godspeed Dublin

I’d be happy to remember her in any way you who have known her think fitting.
Wonderful posts!! This is so awfully sad. Even though I’m not shocked or surprised, it just plain hurts.
God bless you, DeeDee!

Thank you Dave for posting. We know how desperately hard it was for you to do this…Know that Dee Dee loved you always, and as she said, “he’s a real keeper”… May you find peace and solice knowing she will not be in pain any longer. Her hair is blowing in the wind as she rides thru the open fields. Her beloved Roulette moving as if on gilded shoes…forever free…Peace & love to you…
