Haltertags.com - Issues

Has anyone been having issues with Haltertags.com? Anyone gotten tags that they ordered in the last year or so?

I recently ordered some bridle tags from them. At that point I had a vague recollection of ordering tags from them at the beginning of the pandemic and, lo and behold, I had. Credit card was charged. Never received tags. Forgot about it at the time because pandemic, the education that is online but is not online education, and a lame horse. I just sent them an email which, according to this old thread, may fix the issue. But 15 plus months is a bit longer than the several months referenced in the old thread.

I got an order from them in March or April of this year. I’ve had the “oops we missed your order” situation with them before, so I followed up about a month after I placed the order, at which point they were reportedly done and just about to ship to me. I got them shortly after that.

They must have a really crunchy old ordering system to drop so many orders, but they’ve at least always been responsive and very nice when I’ve reached out.

Same experience. I ordered for Christmas. Forgot about the order. Arrived in May. It’s a shame they are so unreliable as the product is top notch. If you email they will get you the order, also had that experience.

Never had a problem except when they misspelled horse’s name. I recall CALLING them (this may have been quite some time ago) and having a pleasant conversation about the odd name. They replaced the halter tag . . .best quality I’ve found.

I ordered from them back in April - took about 6 weeks to get one halter plate, but all was fine.

From my experience they are always “slammed with awards season” - regardless of the time of year. I’ve had speedier luck ordering through their Ebay account (if it still exists) or adding a note about needing an order by a certain time. They quality is unparalleled but speed is definitely frustrating.

Thanks all. I sent them an email just before I started this thread and haven’t heard back.

I ordered in October, emailed a few weeks later and then suddenly they were “rising in the que” and shipped a few days later. Pretty typical in my experience.

I actually put in order with them in May and emailed them thursday am after reading this thread, lol. I got a reply with a tracking number, an apology and a free tag on Friday night. I have always used them for tags and love the quality so to me it was worth the wait.

They’ve always been notoriously slow. I don’t get the sense it’s a large business with a lot of people, and maybe not super organized.

Heard back today with an apology, an offer of two free items, and an offer to continue or cancel the really old order.
