Handson Grooming Gloves

Have you seen these? Have you tried them?

I have nothing to do with this company but I LOVE these gloves. I have neuropathy in my hands after breaking my neck and my friend’s 81yo mother has terrible arthritis in her hands and we both think they are amazing.

Just passing it on.

I have a pair and I love them. My mare doesn’t like too much messing with her face, but if I gently go at her with the small finger nubs, then we can make progress cleaning up there. The big nubs on the palm work well on her body. I agree with your recommendation!

I think I want a pair for my dogs. Have them in my SmartPak cart.

I have a pair and will never go back to regular grooming ever again!! I have a very sensitive chestnut diva gelding and he hates the curry comb anywhere on his body. I got these from Dover but would recommend Amazon if you have prime. He has actually started making the itchy face when i use these on him and I can rub his belly forever with them. You will not be disappointed they are also a dream for bathing. I know this sounds like an infomercial but i can’t say enough good things about these gloves. A friend borrows them for her chestnut mare who also loathes grooming and she loves them too! Easy to clean and easier to store for those of you that only get a tack locker. Love love love I would give it 10 stars if I could.

I am intrigued. I wonder why the different sizes have different prices.

I love these grooming gloves. I love them so much I gave my riding teachers a pair each, and now my riding teachers LOVE these grooming gloves.

The horses really like them too. The head shy gelding I ride is improving gradually when I use them on his head, and when I use them after my ride the horses act like the gloves are as good as rolling in the dirt to get rid of the itchiness.

Huh. My mare loves having her head rubbed with the regular nubbly curry mitts, I wonder if these would be even better? They also might be really good with my constantly-shedding dog. Hmmm. Might have to add in a pair to my next order from Amazon!

I got these to use on my always shedding GSD mix and they are easily the best grooming tool I’ve ever bought (and believe me, I’ve tried plenty). He previously ran away from grooming tools at worst or tolerated them for 5 minutes at best but now he actually comes over and stands in front of me as soon as he sees me putting these on. He loves the scratching/massaging he gets from them and will hang out being groomed for ages.

They work really well for bathing, too. They get the shampoo worked in really well in one scrubbing where I have to do two applications if I use my bare hands and they keep plenty of hair from clogging up the drain. I love that unlike a mitt I can still grab the shower hose or the shampoo easily.

I haven’t personally used these on horses, but I know several people who have who immediately went out and bought extra pairs to keep for their house pets.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these. They are great for grooming and also for bathing. I bought a 2nd pair so I could keep one in my show tack trunk and one at home.

They are really awesome for bathing a horse that has fungus on their legs (or elsewhere.)

I’ve only used them on horses but was told they are great for dogs too.

I know this thread is old, but is anyone still loving these, or have they found a similar product a little cheaper? I would like to try them but the price point is a little much in case I hate them.

I still love the HandsOn grooming gloves. The horses still LOVE these gloves. My riding teachers still love these gloves, they both stopped using curry combs because these gloves do a MUCH superior job of getting the horse clean.

Considering the time they save in getting the horse clean, you will make up the difference of their cost as they increase your productivity in grooming horses. This is one of the reasons my riding teachers love these gloves, they don’t have to spend as much time grooming the horses. After all they have plenty of other things to do with the horses, and now they have more time.

No regrets here. I have one sensitive-skinned mare who hates currying or a shedding blade and this glove was a lifesaver. I keep one at home for the dogs and one at the barn for the ponies. Two thumbs up, all around, love them.

I’ve had mine for almost a year and have no complaints. They seem to be holding up well.

Still use these every day. They’re so convenient for currying areas such as the legs, the forehead, the belly, etc., and my hands stay relaxed since I needn’t grasp a regular shedding blade or curry - didn’t realize how much tension was in my hands during grooming until I got a pair of these and it went away.

Love mine after a winter of hard brushing and the horses seem to enjoy them too!

Have them as well and love them!! Best Product ever!!!

I like them especially for bathing. I just dump some shampoo in my palm and scrub instead of having to make up the whole bucket and sponge mess.

I just got these a few weeks ago and I LOVE them. They were amazing for that last bit of shedding season. I haven’t used them to bathe with yet, but I think they will be too harsh for my guy. You could scratch him with a pitchfork and he would die of happiness, but he’s quite particular when he’s wet. I use the Epona mitts for bathing and they work quite nicely!

I’ve used them for over a year and really like them, especially during shedding season. They do get smelly in the summer and need to be washed. My horse does not like them for bathing.

Bought a pair, will update!
