Thanks for updating us! I’ve been meaning to try and get out to get new pics for her facebook page, and of course it just seems to keep slipping into the background hum of life. Kim has been wonderful to keep her after all this time, who knew she would still be kicking up her heels years down the road?
2016 update
Always Funny is alive and well and even out playing in the snow at Kim’s farm in Virginia. Thank you Kim for taking such good care of Funny!
Great news! I sent a dribble to Kim to help out. Wish she’d get back on COTH so we could see pictures of our girl!
Must say I was a little bit nervous about opening this thread. But very happy to hear she is still happy and playing! Thank you so much Kim for the fabulous care of the red head girl!

Kim sent me a picture of Funny in the snow, sent yesterday from her in the snow after the last blizzard last week or so, but I don’t know how to get it onto CoTH. I did send it to bathsheba so hopefully she can post it. Funny looks great.

She would be right around 39 now, if the original CL ad is correct. Pretty cool, huh? Glad to hear that she’s still enjoying her retirement, snow and all!

I think she was born in 1983, so maybe 33 this year? Glad she’s still doing well! Would love to see photos! =)
This is WONDERFUL news!!! I am so glad she is still doing well and enjoying life. When my own got in the way, I stopped getting over there to get photos

OUR MARE IS STILL ALIVE!
Ok guys, Our Mare, Always Funny, is still alive and well at Kim’s farm in Virginia! OMG she’s kept that mare alive for years.
And although she’s almost blind, Funny, not Kim, she’s got a young male TB as her boyfriend to lead her around!
Don’t forget, you can support our mare since Kim took her for us.
Who knew that Kim could keep the old girl alive this long.
So wonderful to hear … I’m very glad the COTH family came together to form the Always Funny Syndicate. I’ve sent Kim some dribbles and will continue to do so for our old girl.
I sent the email with latest photo to woofnwhinny and to bathsheba, so hopefully one of them can post it.
Kim did not send a photo of the younger boyfriend of Funny.
Kim’s old horse lived to be 41! I’m thinking of sending old Cloudy and pretty old Hattie up there to her!
Does she need more funds to help with the on going feed bill? I contributed some before, would be glad to contribute more now! Just have to PM to remind me…
