Horse trailer questions?

OH! this happens? omg…

Brilliant!!

so …how many are there in horse area?

i toggled back and forth about an awning. In the end, i figured with hauling so many greenies all the time, i couldn’t trust them with the prop up poles at the side.

Can’t WAIT to see what you do to that tackroom/lounge!

So horse compartment is a 2 x 1? rear two straight load and box in front of them?

No, it’s just a 2 horse. It’s a monster horse area though, and could easily fit 3 small horses (as long as they aren’t trying to kill one another).

There are 4 roof vents in the horse compartment.

They say that the roof vents are the best form of ventilation. Better than windows…
hmmm. maybe i’ll add another one. lol…that poor saleswoman.

I think my sales person is the coolest woman alive. Her name is Risa. I never met her in person, but she was SO attentive and SO knowledgeable that pretty much everything on my wishlist got checked off.

My trailer was purchased through her dealership in SC. I picked it up at the factory in WI.

Mine is kinda a bitch. She says “no we can’t do that” and then i have to go haunt the manufacturer’s website to prove they can.

Just this morning i emailed to tell her i wanted tackroom door on drivers side and sideramp on curb side. So, she has to rewrite the sales order/contract all over again.

Here was what I did to the one in my last trailer. I kept all the cabinets when it sold, so this one will look awfully similar lol. Excuse the mess, I had moved out of my house so lots of stuff that would normally be in the garage or shed got move into the trailer.

The lower cabinets were supposed to be mock-ups but I got lazy and never fully built them out. I like being able to get stuff under them easily, so it worked out.

But enough about me and my trailer escapades! This is your thread! I’m just here to give ideas! lol

i LOVE your trailer embellishments!

I’ve already started daydreaming about my little 3’er. I have all these Persian rugs… thinking i’ll do something with them. How did you afix those cabinets to the sidewall?

I predrilled a pilot hole and used tappers to grab frame.

Some people are weird about drilling into walls. I, am not.

That doesn’t bode well, when you’re building something custom.

Are you totally sold on Titan? Or are you open to other brands?

Risa is amazing. Add me to the list of people she helped walk through buying my dream trailer.
Not nearly as custom or elaborate but certainly she held my hand and answered every question and hiccup or concern I had along the way. When you’re spending a nice chunk of coin and transporting living things I would expect nothing less!
The rear facing trailers are basically custom as they do not manufacture them until you order. I just found most of the basic amenities were perfect.

What are the dimensions of your trailer? It’s very nice.

Thank you !

Another thumbs up for Risa at Happy Trails Trailers. She was great to work with.

I love how yours came out @endlessclimb ! I also have the sliding divider, so helpful when picking up hay

Also I love having an interior camera to be able to glance at. Haven’t mounted the back up camera yet, it’s on my to do list lol

I’m not buying the person, i’m buying the product and i really like Titan. This one i have (all the steel parts and floor and doors…NOT that fiberglass nose!) looks really fresh for it’s age. And it is solid. I don’t want aluminum and all-steel aren’t that easy to find. I knew she was a problem the moment she walked through the door! And when i have a chance i will critique her. I think.

Wow~! how lovely is that! Love the rear-facing aspect. (that’s how all mine always choose to ride). A question, where do you guys hang water buckets?

I wish i could count on bars and or bumper chains to contain my horses…unfortunately, with the mules and mustangs i need Ft.Knox. My ‘normal’ domestic horses are fine. Well, that’s not exactly true. Two of them would chew the bumpers to bits.

oh thanks…mee too!

Lead-time??? i have asked a couple of times but no answer yet. The way i figure things, if i don’t accept delivery til Jan 2 i won’t have to pay property tax on it for that year. So that’s what i’ll be aiming for. But first they do drawings, then dealer approves drawrings, then onto me. and once i approve, there can be nooooo changes {{{shudder}}} lol.

I would also like, very much, to know how much it’s going to weigh before approving drawrings.
