How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

Omg! Please share pictures of it on his horse. But has he seen the Leopard print bridle from Halterego?

Haha, yes I showed him the photo of your horse in his leopard print bridle and he loved it! It’s not quite his style but the leopard print padding is eye-catching for sure! I’ll share a pic when the saddle pad and bonnet arrive.

Agreed! That leopard print looks sharp and I can’t wait to see the pictures.

Gorgeous!!

That’s amazing :joy:

@equinelibrium, I am having flashbacks! A friend joke-gave me a leopard print pad years ago and I used it 1 (ONE!) time on the Appaloosa pony I was riding for my (hunter) trainer at the time. It was winter and I was deliberately trying to make her laugh or cringe. I was asked to make it go away and never return   In her defense, it was a rather heinous combo.

Booooo! It needs a comeback. I’d love to see leopard print on an Appy!!

Related tangentially. I have an “Eff Mondays” tradition where I wear leopard print. It started as a joke between me and a coworker. Today, I busted out the Leopard print Uggs to complete the assemble.

Sorry for the photo angle. I’m like Lurch, I can’t fit my whole body in one photo and I’m not about to ask for a selfie:

The pony I’d take back, but that pad, no. It has gone on to other people and things. I think I sold it on consignment, so someone else is rocking it now.

my show attire this year is going to be a Navy jacket with light blue breeches with navy seat and the same color quarter zip shirt underneath and the same navy jacket with pale green breeches with navy full seats and another quarter zip shirt that is the same shade of green underneath. Thank you, Smart Pak!

Saddle pad will be a navy velvet mattes pad. I will try and get some pictures to post soon.

This is my guy in PS of Sweden Clear Sky. My show coat is cobalt with white piping on the collar & pockets. I have a navy & white printed stock in the works. Black helmet, boots, & tack☺️

Oh man, I am getting FB ads for the new Equestrian Stockholm Deep Tuscany and Mahogany Glitter (though they had that before, but sold out). I am trying to stay strong. Yesterday barn friend asked how many saddle pads I have. I told her some questions are best left unanswered.

Those of you with saddle pads with the padding in front- do you like it? Does it really help keep the pad in place?

Well my package got delivered but not at my house :sob:

Lemieux has amazing customer service though and they’re already on the case.

Hopefully my bluebell will enter my life soon!

Thanks! I think so too! I’m excited to see it all together but here is the jacket & pad together.

I think so, yes. I find it’s also more likely to keep the pad tented while I ride☺️

Are these glittery pads legal to show in in USDF?

LOVE that color jacket!

@Arlomine, I don’t think so. I tend to keep it more toned down for shows anyway. I have a sparkly strip on my helmet and a blingy browband for my mare; no need to pile it on.

I love that on a chestnut!

Haha, I had to read that about 5 times before I understood. Yes, I think the padding helps a little bit. My mare must be moving more in her back now or something because her pads have been sliding back a bit. The ones with the front padding still work their way back, but then stop. I need to put some extra stitches in the billet slots to better align with where the girth actually sits. It would be nice if they had the multiple slots like the LeMieux pads.
