How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

Thank you! Quick Knots make it so easy. Took about 15 Minutes!

I’ve been meaning to try those - they really work that well? They don’t jab the horse at all?

Not exactly matchy matchy, but this is our getup for today’s schooling show. I found some glittery plastic spiders and sewed them into my mare’s braids. Her browband has skull beads and my shirt is kind of a Day of the Dead skull design. She got a bat shaved her her hip. The show organizer pulled me aside to get a pic for their FaceBook page

On the downside, my olive breeches seem to be stuck somewhere between The Netherlands and Idaho, so my new set might not be making an appearance at next week’s clinic. :frowning:

How do you both manage to look so classy with spiders running down the mane?!

Honestly, I was surprised at how nice it turned out. I almost didn’t do it because I thought it might look too cheesy.

Please tell me about your tan breeches!!!

Olive? Please let me know the brand… my new coat is a dark olive-moss type green and i am on the search for light moss/olive breeches all the ones I have found are too yellow/spring green/apple green… or far too dark.

They are Esprit Equestrian Wear. Just simple tights. They do make them in a thicker fabric with a zipper but those only come in a 1/2 seat. I am an ambassador for them. If you use SVVDRESSAGE at check out, you will get a discount on your first order!

Have you tried the Dover ones? I have these in olive and it’s a really pretty color. https://www.doversaddlery.com/ds-wellesley-tech-nova-fs-brch/p/X1-351713/

Some matchy from my last ride of the season:

These would probably be too dark. They are Montar and will hopefully match the PSoS pad and polos I posted upthread.

I LOVE Esprit and have a few pair! I will let my friend know!

thanks, a bit darker than I’m looking for. thx

No; you have the Solution!

Beautiful navy things there.

Thank you for defending my addiction!

Their blue pads are absolutely gorgeous. I have another one of their blue pads (I can’t remember the name right now). Their Emerald line is my absolute favorite though.

Their emerald pads are not what I would ever call emerald. And they perfectly match the color petroleo in my DeNiros which are coming soon. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Super beautiful.

Just got my edited pro photos from regionals. It’s odd how far off the color of my coat looks in photos. Helmet, coat and boots are all close enough. That bridle was a temporary solution while I was waiting for the gorgeous new one I ordered from Bliss too late for the show. I really like the camel breeches with the dark browns instead of white. It was around 100 that weekend, so the no coat was my warmup class. I rode earlier so it wasn’t as hot day of the championship.

I forgot to include a pic with the more interesting stock tie! I went white, white breeches, more classic, for the championship. But I have the paisley stock tie in this photo and I am considering wearing it with the camel breeches and a dark brown pad with camel piping… (and in person, helmet is slightly later, but coat, boots, and saddle all match. As does the new bridle I got since this photo.)

It’s weird how that happens! I recently got show photos with the same outfit I posted earlier in this thread and the pad has a totally different hue. The trim of the pad matches my coat well though, not that you can really see that in the photos. Love the new pics though! It was so nice of the farm owner to plant ornamental grasses that match my saddle pad.
