How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

I’m looking for matchy matchy/coordinating pad/ clothing ideas for my new boots! They were my cinderella boots on steep discount so I’d love some matchy ideas! Dressage pads or AP pads as my pony doesn’t fit into any of my dressage saddles so I ride him in a jump saddle.

Finally joining in the fun! I have 3 or 4 matchy matchy options but never seem to get it all together. BUT a few weeks ago LeMieux had a halloween sale on their Sienna colour. I wouldn’t typically go for orange but it’s a barn pal’s favourite colour so she and I went in on an order together to share the shipping/brokerage charges.

I was able to get a photo from my inaugural ride in the matchy set and then another photo to match my surroundings a few days later!

I love vests.
I have more vests than I need or even wear.
I have resolved to buy no more vests, not all that difficult since my favorite style (Windsor by Eous)does not seem to be made any more and I rarely go anywhere anyway and I probably have one in every color
Coldwater Creek however is featuring about the cutest vest I have seen.

Yes, I bought it.

Maybe I’ll give it to one of my daughters. Or not

PS of Sweden has a tan/cream pad on sale right now.

Oh geeze, I am also a collector of vests. I call it my inVestment portfolio  I may need to mosey over to CWC, even though I should not be shopping (and I run hot when I ride, so it needs to be fairly cold for me to wear a vest).

@enjoytheride gorgeous boots! Agree with @lorilu on PS Sweden. In fact, that tan pad, and also two with coordinating binding, are on sale for $30 right now. Might as well grab all three  https://www.psofsweden.com/us/saddle-pad-dressage-essential-light-sand

$39 for shipping! Ouch.

Unless it is very cold vests are my standard outerwear.
These Are great in warmer weather

I have 3 of these. One is rose.

ETA. The vest from Cold water creek probably is not good to ride in because it doesn’t have a 2 way zip.

They have a couple of others

Or free shipping if you go all in and get $199 worth of matchy goodness

YES! Last count I was at 30. I was selling things at a tack sale and was so proud that I sold 2 vests…until I purchased 4 more there! Whoops!! In my defense (not really) I am very short waisted (so short waisted, I’m missing a rib) and all my breeches get tucked into my bra, so a vest looks so much better! Here are a few of my looks from last show season

Wow, I’m way behind with only about a dozen.

They look great on you. I’m also short waisted, and just plain short, carrying all my surplus fat in my gut. Vests conceal the extra blubber.

Love the vests, especially the brown. Where did you get it?

I wish I had gotten a pic of day 1 at my show!
I went white stock with white breeches, but the day before had on camel breeches and wore them with a paisley print stock tie which has black, camel, and dark brown. I will get over my shyness about it and use a dark brown pad with that someday, but had a comment on my turnout from one of the judges - and it was something she meant, as she gave me a score close to 70%, so it wasn’t just looking for something nice to say as the stereotype goes :joy:

Here’s the boring version of my turnout which I really like!

@Manni01 Apologies for dredging up a very old post but I am OBSESSED with the gray pad on your chestnut. Do you happen to know Eskadron’s name for that one? Is it their anthracite color?

That’s awesome. I’d love to see this. Is anyone else rocking a patterned or colorful stock tie?? I’m contemplating. I see lovely ones on Etsy.

This pad is one of my favs :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:. It is from an old collection and it’s called cotton performance in the color military… in Germany on eBay if you are lucky you can still find that color… I believe the newer grays are nice too…

Thank you! I recently acquired a chestnut and none of the colors I have for my gray work on him so I’m on the hunt!

We managed accidentally matchy this afternoon, out in the sunshine! I find this wine color surprisingly good on him.
