From regionals (I’m looking at tiny thumbnails, hopefully loading the photos I bought, not the screen shots I used to track which I wanted to buy) - it was 100 when I went without coat, but I used the stock tie for awards. I wish I’d gotten pics of them together this weekend!
Love that, netg!! You’ve given me some inspiration.
Here’s more purple on a chestnut. I was switching classes rather quickly so the browband wasn’t the correct clear rhinestone one. But overalI I think I need to find a stock tie with some lavender or maybe a pattern to pull it together? I can hardly match my socks, but dang, I’m determined to try and match sometimes while riding, lol.
I would love a matching lavender coat, but there’s really not much out there that’s not a zillion dollars that I’ve found.
Here’s some matchy matchy from Mother Nature that I really enjoyed. If I ever lose him in the woods I’ll never be able to find him though!
Finally sat down and ordered show photos from the year…and between this years’ color combinations (blu, green, purple, grey, and burgundy) and the infamous pink coat, I have to say that I have fully embraced the matchy matchy asthetic!
That purple coat on the grey is absolutely stunning. I love that color combo.
I have never been a huge fan of greys - but he is fun to dress up as he can wear just about any color!
I LOVE your photos!! I can’t even pick a favorite. They are all super nice.
Can I ask what brand and model of saddle this is? Looks comfy!
The grey and the bay in the blue and pink jackets are both being ridden in Stubben Euphorias…the bay in the grey and the burgundy is being ridden in a Stubben Zaria Optimum jump saddle as he’s 4 and pretty fairly newly off the track!
Amore Equestrian has a lavender coat that is currently listed under $100!
I just ordered one.
Oh, I might need that royal blue jacket!
Nice photo of the woods… where’s the horse?
For those wanting a show jacket in a hard or impossible to find color: one option is to find a seamstress, buy a pattern for the dressage coat (they’re out there, I bought one some years ago)
And then purchase the fabric in the color you want, and have it made for you. I found a semi retired seamstress who made me a lovely jacket for around $100… with materials and pattern the whole thing wad around $200…so not cost prohibitive as compared to off the rack…and you get a beautiful coat in your desired color that fits you perfectly.
I debated between the royal and lavender.
We need pics!! I would love to find someone to make a custom coat.
Royal blue is our jam for jumping. I have a royal blue stirrup irons. Will eventually get a black jumping saddle made with royal blue accents.
ADI Valentino is a Bali based maker of custom coats, suits, and boots. ESL but people who have bought coats have been happy. He has a FB page. Coats are cheap too!
I have seen his coats and they are gorgeous. They are absolutely exquisitely tailored.
I thought about buying a nice lavendar blazer and having a seamstress alter it. I suppose that may have to be my project in the new year to find someone willing to do some alterations
