This thread has made me want to get some pretty saddle pads or matching sets (saddle pad and shirt really) and I found this on Hufglocken. I love the slate grey and teal (petrol) - those are the colors I’ve always shown in! What I can’t figure out though, is what piping is on the pad? It looks glittery but I don’t see that as an option for the Mattes pads.

I’ve seen them run special pads with cording like that, but I don’t think it can be custom ordered. Pretty pad though!
I FINALLY got my Montar breeches to go with my olive pad and polos. They were stuck in customs for something like 70 days and I’d given up on them. Now I have to wait for warmer weather. In the meantime I’ve found a partner in crime at the barn and we went in on a PS Sweden order from their current sale, so I’ve got a Sunlight Ruffle pad and matching shirt on the way, plus the Navy Floret pad/polo set that was on sale for $49.
Maybe it is more of a “heathered” piping?

I’ve been really good and haven’t ordered a pad or anything really, aside from some leather goods for the past year, but young horse will be backed in 2024…

This looks like a velvet, it is not glittery. What I do is I search in FB “Mattes Petrol pad” or whatever color it happens to be so I can get a real life view of color. The binding is always a matt color and the piping is not glitter either. There’s lots of pics on FB so you can get color ideas. Is that “Slate” in velvet? Here it is in real life.

I don’t order mine w fleece, but I’ve gotten a few used that were disgusting and they washed fine

That is gorgeous! I really like the Slate velvet. I think the piping/ cord on the pad I shared could be glittery as it doesn’t look like the standard braided cord on the rest of the pads. I message Hufglockens FB page but likely won’t get a response until the new year. I would just order the pad I shared but I don’t think I want the full sheepskin panels underneath (currently saddle shopping for the horse that would be wearing it so not sure).
I do not see a glitter option on the configurator. That color piping looks like turquoise which is not glitter.
No seriously - they do limited edition pads with sparkly cording. That is what it looks like, not in the custom pad options.
