How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

I looked at them but not sure how they look and feel.

I’m sure that’s possible, but I still maintain that none of the options on the configuration on Hufglocken are glitter. I want to make sure someone doesn’t think they are and that they don’t order through that if that is what they want

We’re saying the same thing. That glitter cord is only on limited edition pads.

Ohhhh ok! Yeah!

Mine was purchased as one of the “limited edition” pads. I don’t recall seeing it as an option on the configuration tool either.

Sounds like some of those “glittery” trims use Lurex thread or something similar to give the fabric a sheen. Metallic threads originally contained actual metal - hence the name - and they were generally available only in various shades of gold, silver, and copper. I think they are now mostly made of a thin plastic or polyester that has been coated with a metallic finish, although there are still some types such as Tambour thread (sp?) that are available in actual metal. Threads that use actual metal are often prone to tarnish and flaking, and although the newer types of metallic threads like Lurex hold up much better to wear, those threads can be a bit more brittle than threads made from cotton, etc., so the “shiny” threads may eventually crack from soiling, washing, etc.

Does anyone have the PS of Sweden glitter pads?

I just sold one. It was a jump pad but didn’t work with my extra forward flap saddle. I don’t know how they would wash, so definitely in the occasional use category.

I have a gold one. Love it. Have used it but not all the time. It’s a mood thing.

They messaged me on FB and confirmed this! The pad above is limited edition with special piping that IS sparkly and is NOT available on the custom ordered pads (which, why not?!).

Does the glitter come off easily? I’ve been eyeballing the teal for a black horse.

For those who are using purple in their colour scheme check out this find on Goodwill! Sadly, they will not ship this Arista purple jacket to Canada. My loss, could be someone’s gain. All I ask is that it is modelled for us to see at some point.

Doesn’t come off at all. The fabric itself is glittery.

In case anyone is looking for a dark blue bonnet, this is on Mercari.

It’s been there for a while, so I’d recommend making an offer.

I love a good matchy matchy show outfit

These are all amazing looks, but omg I LOVE the dark purple coat in the first photo. I also have a black and white pinto and have a hard time choosing colors because everything looks good on them!

Finally got to put together my PS olive pad and Montar breeches that were stuck in customs for eternity. We were just schooling, so I didn’t bother with the matching polos. Hit up Equiture this morning and picked up an Olivine crystal browband that should look quite lovely with this, I think (ahem, I may also have bought another saddle pad, and three other browbands…).

Oooh love both of the purples here!

For my fellow Canadians, where are we getting our matchy matchy items? There must be somewhere I’m missing - seems many places have minimal selection as far as colour goes.

That dark purple is amazing - is it custom or do you know the brand?
