How about a matchy matchy fashion show thread?

Funny how this seems to happen!:purple_heart:

Oh how I love this thread!!

I took this pic of my friend and told her I was posting here, because I admired how very matchy she was! Breeches and blanket matched perfectly to the eye, just reflect light differently and mess up the camera.

Have you looked at the selection at Rebel Equestrian? https://www.rebelequestrian.com
I haven’t purchased anything from them, but do enjoy their patterns.

Not a lavender, but I have just ordered one of the other jackets! At that price, who can resist? Yay!
Now my matchy can be grey jacket w/beige breeches and beige/grey/hunter saddle pad, OR hunter jacket w/light grey breeches and beige/hunter/grey saddle pad. Both will have a shamrock-patterned stock OR cream, textured dickie stock.
Bring on show season!!

I dug out my maroon coat for day two of a show in CA last weekend. I had not worn it for about eight years and I thought the color would coordinate well with my new (arrived last April) grey PRE gelding.

The very tops of my boots are also maroon, although I’m not sure how well that shows at this distance.

Day one, I wore my dark grey coat with my medium grey helmet. I’ve shown him in this combo already this season. Same maroon-topped boots. Faux snakeskin bridle is from Halter Ego.

I love this combo!! Very nice. The gray looks nice, too, though.

That’s the truth!!

Oooh, thanks! Must check out.

Okay everyone, I need your help… I need another saddle pad but I’m forever struggling with what colour looks good on my guy. I’ve generally trended towards more conservative colours though I, myself, am more of a tie dye and neon kinda gal.

I’m looking to get an Ogilvy friction free pad as recommended by the saddle fitter (she just mentioned she liked them and I happen to need another pad.)

Anyway… help! Let’s see if these photos show up:

Does anyone know what the sizing on the PSOS pads runs like? I have 14.2 hand horses and a 17.5 inch saddle. In Mattes the large dressage size fits fine, and I can also get away with the All Purpose size under both my dressage and jump saddles making it multi use.

My husband got me a Cob pad from Amore equestrian in Denim (to match the denim breeches I’d just bought) and it’s borderline too small.

Royal blue!

I have the regular size PSOS pads. They are very generous. That’s a 19” saddle.

And I’m liking purple on my Chestnut. Might look sharp on him!

Gorgeous but I really want to brush that horse.

I would do black. If any blingage, I’d do golden/copper/brass but it must be the right tone of that dark golden color.

This is that color scheme with the bling being the primary color

Idk if this will be helpful, but here is a series of photos of my mare in a few different pads. She’s 14.2 and I have a 17.5 saddle.

Top: Kentucky
Middle: PSOS full size
Bottom: LeMieux S/M
Underneath all the pads: Ogilvy baby pad

I felt the PSOS and Kentucky pads were large, and the S/M LeMieux was borderline too small, but fit the best of the 3. I ended up keeping the Kentucky and LeMieux pads, the Kentucky one is so luxurious I was ok with it being a little on the bigger side.
