Oh thank you so much!! We did a little fashion shoot today since my trees are all in bloom. I think this will be my spring schooling show outfit
Absolutely beautiful! That color looks great!
these photos just exude “spring” vibes. I can’t wait until spring arrives here. We’re still buried under mountains of snow, but it is TRYING to melt. No riding outside here for probably 3 weeks on the optimistic side. More likely mid/late May.
Wow!! Love that color! The trees and the blooms are beautiful too!
Got to rock the lavender set this weekend at a schooling show. I liked it a lot but it did kind of blend in with the sky, which was overcast. On a bright blue sky say I think it would have popped more!
My other one went in a nice pink! I really like how this one looked.
I love them both!
VERY nice!
I love them both!! And love the sheepskin lining on the second one matching the set
Anyone want to enable me on a nice chocolate brown and/ or sage green for a chestnut? I’ll be buying jump pads!
Hmm, I have the PS Sweden cotton signature pad in chocolate brown, but I don’t see it on their website. They do have this one though: https://www.psofsweden.com/us/product/desert-stripe-jump-saddle-pad-coffee?slug=desert-stripe-jump-saddle-pad-coffee
Someone had the dressage version at the tack sale a couple weeks ago and I was very tempted to buy it, but managed not to!
PS coffee is really nice (same color on the mamba and the corduroy) but looks like most out of stock (and wow prices are up there!).

Le Mieux has some nice browns, too.
I need some matchy and ear bonnet advice please! My chestnut needs an ear bonnet for shows because the gnats are horrific this year. I don’t love the look of bonnets so I thought I’d get one that matches his coloring well enough to kind of blend in and go with anything. I found a Le Mieux in ginger at the local tack shop that I think is quite a nice color for him.
Question 1: Will it go with my current show coat and pad, or is the ginger too “warm” for those colors / too close in color without actually matching? Please help a fashion idiot. I’m hoping the bonnet just blends in well enough that it doesn’t matter?
Question 2: Is it better to err on the side of large or small with bonnets? I originally bought the large and thought it was slightly snug, so I tried the XL and I need to return one but can’t decide which is better. He’s a warmblood but “only” 16.1 and wears a horse-sized bridle, so I find it somewhat unlikely that he needs an XL. His ears are adorably on the big side I think but not crazily so. The one in the photo is the large FWIW.
No help but your turnout in the picture above is stunning!
I’d match your saddle pad if possible, but the copper does blend nicely. You would be fine with it.
I think it matches your horse well enough that it blends in and doesn’t look like a non match! Also the one on the photo looks like it fits to me. I’m not a huge bonnet person either but got a few because the gnats really have been bad here this year!
I like this colour on him! I would go with the large size. If you go too big, they tend to bunch up, and you also don’t want it to get shaken off and take your bridle with it!
I think the ginger color is lovely and blends well enough, like MapleFarm stated, that you can just pretend he’s not wearing one when you’re trying to coordinate.
