Lovely horse too.
Has anyone seen a quality cheetah print pad anywhere? Can be “subtle” or muted. Would prefer a brown or beige over a silver and black.
Does it have to be cheetah, or can it be “leopard print”? The cat-nerd in me knows there’s a difference in rosette shapes.
I have this, purchased on clearance at Dover Saddlery. I don’t think it’s in rotation anymore but I bet you can find it online somewhere: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/nwt-dover-saddlery-snow-leopard-allpurpose-saddle-pad--287808232425686490/
Sorry for the Pinterest link. Here it is on my horse a few weeks back, I got a ton of compliments on it.
Weatherbeeta seems to make a leopard print dressage pad:
I know nothing about the vendor though.
While I can’t speak to their saddle pads, WeatherBeeta blankets hold up forever on my two hooligan girls.I’d absolutely trust any of their products!
Leopard or cheetah would be fine! I like the Anky one but it appears to be silver? And also sold out everywhere.
Here’s my show outfit for this year (and hopefully several more years)! I finally got my burgundy shadbelly, just in time for my show in early May. To me, it goes perfectly with the burgundy in my fly bonnet and Trakehner logo on my saddle pad.
That looks stunning with your horse!
Amazing color for your horse! Love it!
Love your horse’s coloring, too!
Thanks! He’s genetically black but the south Mississippi sun likes to bleach his coat. Tried a few things but nothing quite keeps him black. I just go with it at this point.
He almost looks like a liver chestnut in color.
You both look great! Have you tried adding BOSS (black oil sunflower seeds) to his diet? It helps some black horses stay dark.
Because of this thread I now have matchy matchy saddle pads organized in the trailer. Not the best picture but you see what my gelding deals with - each saddle pad has a corresponding bonnet and shirt affixed to it.
No, haven’t tried that yet. Appreciate the suggestion!
Photo quality from my phone isn’t great but everyone just loved this back on track pad on my horse! I get compliments on it everyday I use it.
Not me riding but I might need to get some brown or tan tall boots for myself, too!
Editing to add, don’t mind the tension, we were off property for the first time in months and it was a bit exciting.
