It’s obviously broken and there are database issues and several chunks of missing posts.
How about an update, mods?
I’ve also noticed missing chunks, and entire missing threads…will they ever come back? What’s up?

Sorry for the trouble, folks. I posted an announcement earlier, but that was eaten too! They turned the site off this morning to fix the “database error” issue we were having when trying to post, and I believe that has been successfully resolved.
They are currently working to restore the posts that went missing from yesterday and this morning.
Hopefully, that will be the end of it, but if you’re feeling a little gun-shy, it’s totally understandable, and feel free to just hang back a bit while we get our act together!

Thanks Mod1! Nope, nothing else weird happening on my end.
ETA: I am now having odd “alerts” show up at the top of my page…any time I click to go somewhere (different forum, post a reply, whatever) I get a message at the top of my screen, telling me that I have successfully validated my email address.
Sometimes it will say things like “User Account” indicating that’s the page I’m on. When it’s really not.
That’s funny, at the top of my page it says “Access Denied.”
I’m waiting for it to say “Resistance is Futile”
I am also getting the “email address verified” alert.
I, too, am getting the happy yellow “sucessfully validated” header, and the big “User Account” title. I don’t appear to be having problems posting, though.
I was seeing that yellow banner last night too, so just test-posting here to see if it’s still there before I call for reinforcements. Thanks!
I’ll tool around some more, but so far, I’m not seeing it this morning…feel free to report back if it’s still there or is now gone for you too.

I have the yellow banner that says they successfully validated my email address at the top of the page this morning.
Still seeing “Access Denied” at the top of the page!
Mine now says Access Denied. No yellow banner though. And everything seems to be working alright.
I seem to have lost a PM exchange from yesterday. The initial PM notification was time stamped 21 Aug 2013 03:10:04. I replied around 7:45 AM. Both the initial and the reply went ‘poof’ sometime later in the day and have not returned.

I still have a great big user account notification at the top of my page, no matter where I go. However, aside from the missing posts, things seem to be working.
Ive been getting the email verification notice as well as “access denied”.
“User Account” at top of page when I access via MacBook or iPad (both Safari browser). If I don’t edit this after I post, then posting went okay with no errors!
