How many beds does your dog have?

The dogs’ bed is my bed… the husband has been deployed for six months and during that time I finally started letting our lab sleep outside the crate (lab was 6 months old when hubby left). Needless to say Argus is going to be quite put out when hubby comes home next week as he’s been using hubby’s pillow for himself. He not only lays there at night, but will also get up there while I’m showering lol. He does have a fleece type bed in his crate, but he’s taken all the outer edge stuffing out and he tends to just push it off to one side anyway.

We have one dog bed…with a small eiderdown comforter folded on top of it as my beagle/chi mix loves to burrow and make herself a nest, sleeping under the covers once they’re all put in just the right places.

Except for when the honeyman is over, the dog bed remains empty. Both my pups insist on sharing my bed. The heeler curls up around my head and becomes my pillow and the behuahua situates herself under the covers curled up next to my belly or behind my knees. Both snore.

Oh boy…let’s see.

1 in the car crate
1 crate pad (which I’ll count) in his soft crate for shows
1 in the living room
1 in my studio
2 in his crate in our bedroom (don’t ask, he’s like the princess and the pea in that crate.)

All of them?
It’s more like, how many do WE have that the dogs DON’T have…

OK, EquineImagined, I give up…
What is a behuauha?

One Corgi

4 temperpedic foam beds. Extra large.

He’s 12, and most of the time, he lays on the cold, hard tile floor.

I’m thrilled when he actually lays on his beds.

My two dogs have 5 beds in the house, plus the couches and human beds - they are very spoiled.

Two - a real, twin-sized human mattress on the floor of our bedroom, and a big rectangular dog bed in the living room. The rectangular one originally came with an egg crate pad years ago, but it finally wore out. The cover is still in excellent shape, so I replaced the inside with our old down comforter, folded in quarters. It’s nice and fluffy!

Tribble has an old kid’s sleeping bag folded in half, which she shares with the cat.

We just upgraded to a king-sized bed (from a full) in order to accommodate the two 55 lb dogs who sleep with us every night. It’s made a huge difference so far, much less crowded. But I am thinking that the dogs just haven’t yet figured out how to maximize all the extra space for themselves. When they do, DH and I will no doubt once again be relegated to a thin strip of mattress on either side.

They have a love seat in the bedroom that they share, one dog at a time. And Lance has a fleecy quilted throw on the floor by “his” window.

We have one dog and she has 3 beds. One in front of the fire, one in my bedroom where she sleeps at night and one in the back of the truck (there’s a camper shell.) I did just buy a new one for Christmas, but it’s to replace the one in the bedroom. She does spend most of her time on an old loveseat though.

ETA- I forgot about the one in her crate. So 4.

You mean how many in addition to the one I bought for hubby & I? Cuz that is their favorite!

Hubby only allows 4 in the bed when he is home but when he is out of town the bloodhound joins me & the gang!

I just bought my dog a new bed…he’s up to three ‘actual’ dog beds now, plus the couch and my own bed!

One bolster bed, one square bed, and a new fluffy pillow bed that’s so fluffy he keeps falling off it.
