Just an old lady living the dream of finally having the time and opportunity to have this horse… likely my last. Appropriately named Happy.
Dirty (the usual) and clean lol.

Here’s Speckles and his buddy Zeke enjoying a late afternoon snack, last July. Zeke knew we were putting Specks down the next day. He is an amazing little guy who has a lasting bond with Speckles.
Here we are after our Century Ride, 6/21/2021
Spud the wonder horse:
Odin (I have a type too)
Gone but not forgotten, Woodrow the bestest boy ever
I don’t need to share a picture of my mustang, Manuka, because this is what she looks like!
I meant to reply to the first picture on this thread
That face though in the clean pose! He/she looks very sweet.
Thank you !! He is a golden retriever in a horse suit !
Feronia’s really getting into being filthy…
I think she looks pretty good for being 6 weeks from her 25th birthday!
They’re all beautiful. Odin looks like fun!
She looks fabulous! A testament to your wonderful care, I’m sure.
She’s a little fat right now. Borderline IR so she’s back on Thyro-L. Can’t cut back on her hay much more or she’ll get ulcers. It’s already in a small hole net… She does violence to her haynets but otherwise it would take her about 15 minutes to go through a 4 pound flake!
In his 20s and 30s, my gelding got very picky and changeable in his tastes. I was envious of the owners who didn’t have problems keeping weight on their horses. I never thought about IR problems and too much weight. I guess every horse presents its own unique set of worries for their owner. But you really are doing a fantastic job with her. Keeping her in work as long as you did was a great help.
I own too many.
First there is this grand creature
And this derp
And this one, who is coming out of his shell…
and last but not least, my old man.
George is the best!
