I Think There's a Troll in These Woods
Wouldn’t that be just the craziest thing, though? Someone who’s been here for 8 years turnin out to be a troll biding her time?

What a twist that would be! Like the ending of Sixth Sense. Gives me the creeps just thinking about it:

"I see trolls . . . there’re everywhere . . . :

After reading through some of the aforementioned threads…

TROOOOLLLLL IN THE DUNGEONS!

…thought you ought to know.

;D

I miss the NP thread(s) from last winter. Wow, that was just days of drama and entertainment.

In case anyone is wondering what NP is up to these days…he is a “skip tracer”, debt collector, car repo expert, and community organizer, according to his latest website.

Dressage has been consigned to the “hobby” section.

I’m very late to THIS party — but I have noticed a lot of new posters lately who come on board with strong attitudes without spending the time to get to know the culture – and some of them are not helping our already deteriorating posting tones. Don’t know where they spring from but there are a lot of them.

You mean (spoiler alert!) Petey Pie has Voldemort under the turban?

This just made me shudder given my recent incident with a process server wandering my property and given the threats he made to me well before all the drama…

Sorry netg, didn’t mean to remind you of that.

NP has changed up his look a little too, to match his new job description. No more pretty boy. I think his new look is much more in line with his personality.

He also has a picture of himself with a priest on his website. In his community service mode.

It also says that the Chevy Cup is given out every year at Dressage at Devon.

I was just a lurker then - but those threads were AMAZING!! LOL

They’re collecting data for a new novel - “Viewing Hell From a Hermes”

It has gotten so that I look (or read) askance at any new poster starting out with a novella. Particularly those about desperate, sad, misunderstood horses.

Do not, not , I say look over your shoulder.

what, you mean you haven’t seen bayhawk’s posts?? or mine, for that matter?

Mwaaahaahaa! Or haven’t you seen MY long-winded posts? It’s all a plot…

Maybe NP is making up alters right and left to start yet one more long misspelled thread about How to Feed my Horse with Ulcers. Sigh.

Sooo…

I’ve read these forums off and on for many years. I never responded. About a year ago I actually created a name and was going to post about something that happened at a show that had upset me. Was just looking for others with similar experiences to make myself feel better.

I ended up never posting because I calmed myself down.

Recently I’ve started posting a bit, I’ve had some spare time and I’ve been reading the forums again.

Now I’m afraid to start any threads! I swear I’m a real person

Oh I was definitely one of those new posters that came out all flames blazing with my first thread… Now I know where I went wrong, lol, but it was educational for sure! I realize what a newb I sounded like! Color me embarrassed…now I try post with more thought

With benefit of over a thousand posts, you can see what we mean when new posters come out with flaming posts — troll suspects.

The interesting thing is the diverse subjects that are usually slightly improbable, and invariably involve someone young.

Now the next one will be an old crone.

Well your post sounds a bit supportive of NP, and you have under 500 posts. I’m suspicious :uhoh:
Just kidding, but if you’re going to give out that kind of information you’re required to include a link. I’ve been typing one handed since Feb., so don’t make me search

I did assume a lot of the new people were UDBBers…

If all the UDBBers are obnoxious flamers, maybe they could just go away and find another sandbox?
