Fly masks and easy boots with a GPS chip, so you can find them in a big field when your horse (inevitably) ditches them. The chip would be reusable and could be attached to a new fly mask or whatever after horsey shredded the original.
Besttwtbever I love you!

Trax gets pretty close to this mark, but it’s $199 for two years of service, the battery only lasts 2-4 days before it needs a recharge, and it’s marketed as “durable/waterproof/etc.” but whether it would stand up to a horse remains to be seen. But if this is what’s possible on the market today, then what you’re describing can’t be too far in the future.

How about something that would let you have a conversation with them? Mine would start with “do you hurt anywhere?”, “why is your steering so questionable?” and “how the heck do you do what you do to your bell boots?”
Thanks! You guys were a creative bunch! I was working on a school project that was to market a new product that’s never been made. I was having an absolute brain fart. I ended up “creating” a show coat with the built in protection of a vest so that even people showing could have the protection of a vest without the bulky part of it.
A magic wand to get rid of all of the flies.
Maybe the Harry Potter store has one.
Something that kills burdock bushes FOREVER!

I want a feed product that provides long-stem fiber, is low sugar and starch, convenient to feed, palatable but not delicious, and nutritionally balanced so that a horse can have free-choice access to it 24/7 without over eating.
Already exists: Triple Crown Safe Starch Forage. Don’t know how anyone can prevent a determined horse from over eating anything though.

Here you go:
http://www.thetileapp.com/
It says you can apply them to anything - no battery recharge needed and the company will send you a reminder to reorder in a year.
I am so getting a Tile and attaching it to a fly mask.

A soft, flexible T-post cover with built in metal brackets that will hold your fencing material of choice (boards, pipe, tape, or rope). I’ve seen something like this, but they’re basically PVC, which tends to become brittle and crack after a few years of exposure to the elements.
A narrow tined plastic manure fork without a basket!
A pasture seed made specifically for overseeding dense clay soils.
A portable heating and cooling pad that can be draped over your saddle and custom shaped to exactly where your seat/leg should be draped if you’re in correct riding position. Imagine how much all of our positions would improve if we had a saddle that rewarded us for sitting correctly!

Let us know how that goes. As a fellow nerd who’s been watching Tile since it was on Kickstarter, I’ve got some concerns about how it would perform in a horsey situation. They’re very sketchy about its durability in outdoor/extreme conditions and you have to get within 50 to 150 feet for the Tile to register. That said, for less than $20, it has huge potential and maybe there’s a way to rig it up so it would survive outdoor conditions (like spraying it with Rustoleum NeverWet or something?).
The TILE is the best idea e.v.e.r!

They have one with ears too…
I love you more! I just bought 2. Shipping was more than the mask so I thought I might as well buy a back up! (The mask with ears was $6.95).
And yes, the Tile looks brilliant!

Tall off the rack (non custom) boots for larger calf sizes that aren’t clunky looking and good quality (can be worn for showing). There are so few options available–I have to order mine from the U.K. I even contemplated starting up a company to sell them but I have no experience in this area.
I’d love fly spray that actually works. I swear, I’ve tried every kind the local tack shops stock and none of them do a darn thing. Especially on those pesky deer flies or B-52s. Those things are unstoppable!

You’re looking in the wrong place. Farm and Dairy http://www.qcsupply.com/country-vet-farm-dairy-fly-spray.html?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=cpc&gclid=CO7U4uzSt7gCFYWe4AodiX8AYg
It is rated for horses but you’ll find it in the cow section of Tractor supply. Works like a charm, $10.00 and it’s an aerosol so a little dab will do you.

Can you make some short (like, actually short!!) and wide versions while you are at it? With a wide foot bed.
Right now I am also wishing the infamous horse bubble-wrap suit that prevents all injuries existed. Must protect against soft tissue injuries as well as gashes, scrapes, broken bones, etc.
Would also love a paste that you syringe and it immediately cures all types of colic.
A pill that causes the horse to shed all his hair overnight, like a powerful laxative. One day in spring a hairy horse, next day, sleek.
Something that will make my horse hoover all powdered supplements, no matter how they taste.
