That pink under that white just turns me off. Not that she is not pretty, but that pink skin burns so easy. A friend had a mostly white pinto that he had to be very careful of in the summer due to sunburns.
My filly has a pink nose and that is irritating enough for me, but then I like to ‘keep costs down’ by keeping my horse out as much as possible (straw costs money!) and my friend had to keep his horse in during the day most of the summer.

She is outside all day, we have a flymask on her to protect her eyes, she makes a sport out of getting rid of it fast. She has not burned. Notice her eyes are dark, not blue. I think that has something to do with the sensitvity of her skin as well. I will be happy to take care of her for the rest of her life…
For horses with sensive noses…the cashel crusader masks with long noses work perfect! we cut the ends off just a bit so it doesnt cover the nostrils. Then they don
t mind wearing them at all.
