Interpersonal difficulties at barn. So tired of it.

there is no drama without an audience.

There is absolutely no reason to get wrapped up in other peoples drama, pain, gripes .

You dont go to the grocery store and get wrapped up in what other people are buying etc.

set boundaries with other people as well as yourself.

while easy to say it can be hard to cultivate, particularly with younger people. the barn is my happy place.

I pay the BO/ trainer for a service. I am not paying them to be my friend, artificial family or significant other. Most barn “friendships” are actually fairly superficial acquaintances. Most will disappear when they or you move on.

I think this idea is the first step to a happy barn life. Do not invest a lot of mental or emotional effort in people who are so superficial in our life.

FB groups that are barn based ( dissemination of info) should be kept drama free by the page owner or you need to be pretty free with the mute member option

Sometimes when you can’t avoid being around a person who gets to you, it can help you maintain your inner peace by silently but sincerely blessing them to their path, picturing them finding what they need (someone appropriate to talk with, unload their problems on, etc.), but since that “someone” is not you, your work is done. Then you walk past them peacefully and undisturbed.
