Is there a market for the Arabian/warmblood cross ?

As a breeder, I always wanted to try some Arab blood crossed with a WB. The Redwine stallion has Anglo Arab back in the 2nd (or maybe 3rd?) generation, I believe, and Ive always loved that combination

A breeder is getting back a palomino Anglo Arab daughter of my Guaranteed Gold stallion and I am encouraging her to breed her to a nice, refined WB stallion and to get the mare approved in one of the WB registries. I think the foal would be spectacular and highly marketable.

I love the crosses personally and prefer an Anglo mixed with the WB rather than a straight Arab.

Good luck in your decision!

Thank you all for your advice, suggestions, ideas and comments. I made a decision to breed my mare to Sir Gregory. He is not only a good producer with a great temperament but his linebreeding is probably interesting for such an outcross.
I will keep you posted. Thank a lot!

Good luck! I thought he’d cross nicely with your mare, that’s why I recommended him.

Great choice! Sir Gregory is a super nice young stallion, and a very reliable sire of top quality foals. In only three foal crops since he was imported, he has jumped into the top 10 of the (unofficial) rankings for number of premium foals presented to Oldenburg (OHBS/GOV). He is actually tied for 7th place in the rankings that date back to 2000.
