And Z13 got his name. He’s Ziconic.
ETA: Zenny’s always picked great days to foal. Cozmic One was foaled on his grandma’s birthday, Ziconic on Zenny’s/April Fools and now Z14 on Easter. I know folks were hoping for the lunar eclipse night, but Zenyatta had other plans.

She is a Zeaster Bunny for sure! Glad the foaling went well and both are healthy and safe. Yay for a filly to carry on her mothers reign.

Me too - but I’m also hoping she “dances” and got mom’s neat personality!
I have to say…the looks aren’t surprising considering they crossed a bay with a blaze on a bay with a blaze and got…a bay with a blaze.

Can’t they just enjoy the moment and be glad that social media has continued to allow Zenyatta to be shared with the fans. It’s more than we get for many mares.
So her first foal should be going to the races this year, right? Anyone know who it is in training with?

Late this year hopefully, yes. He’s still at Mayberry, but will probably heading out this way this summer to John Sherriff’s barn. Soooo hoping that Jacqueline gets to ride him, and looking forward to seeing him at the Great Race Place when we go to Clockers Corner in the mornings.

Yes, and she’s had easy textbook foalings every time, and very much enjoys being a mom.
I do wonder if they’ll leave her open this year, though, to try for an earlier foal in 2016.
