It's Here! Maryland 5*

Figured it out … apparently it doesn’t default to showing you the live action and just goes to whenever the stream started. Working now!

dry ditch to the bank out of WATER???

I actually like the idea of it, should help the horses stand off the bank a little more and not get underneath it.

If you’re outside of the US and watching on USEF, you may need to turn a US VPN on. My stream didn’t start til I did that.

It’s just a little ditch right at the base of the bank to help the horse read it. If the horse is anywhere near to stepping in it, they’re in trouble.

that makes sense.
i have never seen anything like that.

Will C. showing us how it’s done - horse was definitely flagging but he did a great job getting him home!

Only 9 seconds over the time though. Great riding Will (I think you’re referring to Will C. if you’re talking about the first one home)!

Yes correct. Even taking his time at the end he was close so I think the time should be doable.

I think so too, but these ponies are looking tired coming home. As they should with the terrain, but geez these ponies are fit and trained by people who know what they’re doing. Show jumping should be interesting tomorrow.

For all the talk about the crabs and the owl holes, they don’t seem to be causing any problems. Knocking on wood because I know it’s still early.

The leaderboard says fall of horse for Buck, but I thought just Buck came off, but I didn’t see it --???

I’m trying to remember but the horse’s shoulder may have hit the ground as he had quite a twist over the jump.

Buck’s horse shoulder did hit the ground.
