I just woke up this morning and went to the USEF live stream, not realizing at all that this is the 3* cross country and was soooo confused at how small the jumps looked for a while I was like wow why have I never really heard of these 5* riders!!!
Briggs Surratt should have retired long ago.
young horse, out of control,
in my smurf opinion, this is a fall waiting to happen
Any news on Zick Zack? Fell at next to last?
Any updates on Lillian Heard’s horse? He was basically on 3 legs after taking a bit of a flyer to the ramp after the water complex.
My friend who is there and saw it said she stayed down for a while but then just popped up and walked back to the barn!
I haven’t got to watch the livestream, but it looks like the time must have been pretty generous, lots of double clears.
Side note looking at that picture of Chilli Morning … now that helmets have become commonplace, those tall top hats look extra ridiculous. They will always remind me of Mr Peanut.
good point! I always think of Abe Lincoln
Quite a few horses look quite fresh!
Mary Bess through the coffin was foot perfect!
He should have been stopped for dangerous riding early on!
Almost ready for the 5*! This is going to be so much fun!
Does anyone have a link to the course map? I’m out on course and can’t figure out my way around and I’m EXHAUSTED. “Shuttles” are kind of a joke. I need to plan an escape of it starts storming lol
I don’t know if this will help.
Clayton Fredericks has withdrawn Stormtrooper from cross country.
I thought they were starting at 1220? Did I miss something?
and it looks like he stopped bc he was eliminated, not because he chose to retire.
i’m just glad that mare’s day didnt end with a fall
My livestream on USEF network is working.
Here are the live scores as well - I like the fence by fence info. https://live.rechenstelle.de/2021/elkton/leaderboard01.html
Are you seeing horses going? All I see is the water tower and hear people talking in the background
Yes - Buck just came off unfortunately when his horse twisted over the brush at 10A
