Thanks so much for the info! What we don’t do for our animals. Guess I’ll never get that spread in Good Housekeeping now.
Uh-oh, are they writing up animal people in Good Housekeeping now?!!!??
This isn’t a compilation of cats asking questions, but was a “thing” a few years ago… and pretty humorous.
I have an in, then out, then in again, then out again… cat.
I’m sure it’s only those people who don’t have huge pieces of animal furniture in their houses.
Ruh-roh.
Well, actually come to think of it I do have 2 sort of huge pieces of animal furniture in my apartment, a double bed and a sofa. So hopefully I’m OK.
I thought about you this morning at the vet’s. I was sitting in the waiting room between two dogs and their people and we got to talking about pet steps. I showed them the ones I got on the Amazon website.
I ordered the ones you suggested last night and am returning the others.
Cool! I hope you like them. Let me know please!
Speaking of cats and weather , there is a book by science fiction writer Robert Heinlein called “Door Into Summer.” Here is a link to a 3 minute audio clip of the beginning of the book. It is about Pete the cat and his winter quest for the house door that would finally open into summer.
Will do.
I have to report a tragedy in Casa Beowulf - or should I say Casa Cats - it’s really their house after all. I took out my phone to take a photo of Jello and dropped it on her head instead.
Jello: how COULD you?!? where’s the hotline to report a cat abuse??!
oh that face. Clearly - clearly - you have wronged her greatly. lol
I’m actually glad to know that I’m not the only person who’s done this!
The clunk it made when it hit her little head…
Glad poor Jello is in solidarity here. It truly was a crime against cats of the highest order.
Just wanted to let you know that both me and Sassy like the steps. They’re a much better size and are working great. I’m going to order one for another bedroom, also. Thanks so much for the recommendation!
You are welcome! I’m really glad you and Sassy like them. Thank you for letting me know!
Why is it that sometimes you walk into the house and do not pop the top of a can of cat food? We expect to get fed every time the door opens. We don’t care if you are coming in to use the restroom. That calls for cat food first.
And why do you tell us no when we use our claws to climb your leg like a tree? We are fine with that. We need a warm lap and a snuggle and climbing up your leg is easier for us than jumping up. Plus you get mad when we jump up and put out our claws to keep from skidding off your lap.
And why do you move us on the bed when your stomach is the warmest softest spot? We don’t care if you just ate supper and can’t breath with us sitting there. We like soft and squishy warm spots.
How many of you are there? How many soft squishy cold bodies seeking heat? 18 claws x X?
