She could have easily rehomed that mare. There are zero excuses for this. Zero.
The whole situation is so sad. I wish they were held more accountable.

Yup, seems to be down. Or they cannot get internet service from their campsite to maintain it with…would love to know whatever happened with their permit issues trying to live in that nasty camper.

hum, interesting, her website was still up a few weeks ago. Hopefully this is the beginning of the real end to that sham of an operation and the suffering of her horses.

She was the mare that had VERY bad dropped fetlocks in the back. She’d been that way for years , yet Jill just kept on breeding her. I mean who cares about the well being of the horse.
On the w/e side her website has been taken down

No, the pictures with Junior handling are horses purchased from Jill outright when she firesaled everything. The new owner and another owner flew him out to see these kids. Jill had no involvement whatsoever.
Sorry, I thought I recognized them from before they moved out of Petaluma.
Thanks Lauriep for clearing it up. Glad to know those are not her horses anymore and she’s not just ramping up again under a new name

Autumn Hill Farm, from what I understand, is owned by a woman named Heidi. If COTH members remember Mike “Eagle74”, who was posting on the original Jill Burnell thread and defending her profusely…Heidi is his girlfriend or wife…and they had purchased several foals and/or mares from Jill. Obviously, still big supporters.

OMG I remember Eagle74 well. A pilot if I recall correctly, who just happened to accompany someone to go see Jill’s horses.
