Well, considering no one ever asked about use of the photo of Redwine himself (and I see no photo credit, but maybe it’s there?) I’m not surprised they didn’t ask about using the offspring photos…
Was that a professional’s photo laurierace? Because if so, that is blatant copyright infringement and the photographer has every right to pursue.
Yes it was and the photographer was the one who got them to take it down.

I have no idea, but Imagination:
The horse is now in Canada - means different law.
To file claims / lawsuits in Canada costs a lot of money to be paid aforehand to the lawer.
What happens if the people just keep the horse ? She would need to file a claim and therefore needs money and a lawer - how does that work with no money and sitting in jail ?
I’ve had similar thoughts, Alexandra, but more along the lines of JB owes a lot of people a lot of money. Are there any outstanding monetary judgements against her? If so, I wonder what the logistics are for having that horse seized at the boarder to settle outstanding debts a la the Eurocommerce horses?

VLF - being as you are standing a horse owned by Jill Burnell (and presumably in contact with her) - do you know why she was recently arrested? Inquiring minds want to know.
INCA I get that she’s upset, I speak english therefore I understand everyones arguments. I’m just saying that the issue has been discussed, the picture removed so call it a day. It’s obvious that you all have strong feelings where Jill Burnell is concerned, I have my own as well! All I can tell you is that the stallion is living the life, I have seen proof. I have one baby on the ground by Redwine…(thanks to Ashland Farm honouring by breeding contracts) and another to arrive soon. I am so pleased with the first colt that I will be breeding back for 2015. You argue…where is the money going, well horses cost money especially keeping a stallion so let’s look there first. If you are worried about Jill Burnell benefitting from the profits and I don’t believe she is, consider your legal system. It is your system that granted her the right to continue owning horses and would it be your wish for these horses to be left hungry. She will need some way of feeding these animals!
Appsolute I am not standing this horse, I was just left with several breeding contracts not filled after years of trying until Ashland Farm honoured them. I really couldn’t tell you why she was arrested.

From what I heard (checked with RMHP) and they say that is standard practice for checking them into probation…

Falseimpreesion I am not Jill’s friend nor have I ever met the woman. I just don’t think that someone who went out of their way to help these horses should be punished for the actions of another. And for the record I am Canadian, and am not worried about making myself or my business look bad, I am just stating my opinion and I certainly have a right to that.
