Does anyone know whether Briggs Surratt (sp?) with the pony mare is going to run cross country?
Wish we saw more of them, a little unfortunate with where they were in the order that the cameras were elsewhere. 
I think they have good things ahead of them and look forward to following them.

I wasn’t able to sit down and watch until around 11:30 – how did they do? There is such controversy around this horse that I was kind of interested to watch their run.

what a lovely show this morning.
no horse falls, no serious rider falls, a bunch of genuine refusals or glance offs, so many great rides, lots of quick foot work, I did not see any gasp worthy jumps or stupid dangerous riding.

They did run and complete!
They did not show much of Briggs because PD was on course at the same time. Elisa had quite a good go.
When I first started watching, I was struck by how slow the first few horses I watched seemed to be going. They didn’t even look like they were cantering - much less galloping. I think it was just where the coverage was focused at the time I.e. on the first few combinations where that collected canter was required.

We happened to get to that fence as they were approaching. They kind of slid right into it and she had to take it again. Unfortunate for the first fence.

Anyone know big Little Hail is? I know Ali said he’s “15 hands of fury,” but is he actually only 15 hand straight? Not like 15.2 or something?
Either way, he’s freaking adorable. Definitely would not mind if he escaped and hopped into one of my pastures lol
