Kentucky 2025

There’s an order of go, but I’m currently stuck in my seat and can’t run to get one. After the 4* is over I’ll grab one and post a pic.

And I think it’ll be a similar course but not 100% identical. There’s at least one fence set up that isn’t being used in the 4*.

I would think they would go in the reverse order of their standings headed into the final phase, correct?

Although they might break up Boyd’s three horses a little bit in the order just so they don’t have an empty ring at any point.

Is everyone else getting ads now on the live stream?

Phew. Thanks.

It looks like now they’re getting geared up to start again.

One of my green horses tripped over a small log at a trot and went to his knees and I was jumping off faster than you can say boo.

I get the high stakes and all, I get that it “technically” wasn’t considered a fall per the rules, but it’s not a good look for the sport. I’ve already seen the clip floating around social media, and the comments are not good.

I was curious to see it but couldn’t find it anywhere online. Nevermind. Found it.

If you find the link up thread to him falling to his stomach, in the comments some one added a video of their sketchy ride through the water

Wasn’t she married to Jeff Beshear? Did they split up?

Rolex does sponsor the arena.

yes, they talked about it on the Jon and Rick show podcast,

very impressed with Dana and Quatro. they could well make it on to our (CDN) WEG team text year.

I was out to the barn this morning and was sad to see when I came home that I could only “rewind” back in the livestream to RIGHT after they finished the previous group. Luckily I was home in time to catch the start of the second group including fellow Canadian Dana… looking forward to Jessie’s ride soon too!

I can’t see the Facebook video because I’m not on FB (side rant—when did public pages stop becoming available to people without having to log into a FB acct?) but the video still on the link above shows his hip touching the ground. Not sure why that isn’t a technical fall per the rules…

I’m going to pipe up and wave my feminist flag and say that this is why women should stick to their maiden names, or at least a hyphenated name, in the horse business.

It takes so many years to build a reputation with horses. It’s crazy to lose half your name recognition on your way through divorce court.

It has to be hip and shoulder simultaneously. Maybe they should edit the rule to say “or stomach”.

Yes, but she referred to the event, not the arena.
