Kentucky 2025

I refreshed my stream and it fixed it. My app’s got this weird thing where it glitches between full screen mode and the initial small screen/start list.

Man, Cooley Space Grey seems very quick across the ground.

I think the crowd noises are a little ahead based on their reaction to the jumps. It’s just more noticeable when you see them talking to people.

It was nice to hear the interview with Peter Wylde. Does anyone know who else he helps besides Boyd Martin?

I think you are right. I will refresh during the drag break.

I watched Boyd’sxc ride this morning on Connor, (thanks to whoever posted it!) it went to a video of him on a new 6 year old TB. He went on about his love of TBs. The horse looked nice!

It is definitely behind the live score link.

Anyone know when you ae allowed to wear the pinque? I know how you EARN one, but when are you allowed to wear it thereafter?

Air Bruno! I thought he looked a bit gassed on XC yesterday but he was full of it today. Great to see!

Man, Bruno is just spectacular. So much scope. To echo the broadcasters… what a testament to the care team behind them that he came out and jumped so darn well after giving the XC his all yesterday.

he looked like he jumped a foot over that one fence!

I would like to see a rule where even though it was not technically a fall under the rules for Elimination, this type of “fall” would be treated like blood - stop the horse, have vets have a look, and then if appropriate let them continue.

Did he say the horse’s name was Remi? If so, it might have been an older video. I think he got that horse a year or so ago.

yes, it was Remi. Gold Tzar I think. But he was raving about him.

It looks like a very nice young horse from some of the videos he’s posted.

What lovely remarks from Karen O’Connor for Mary Bess Davis. That’s got to be icing on the cake after a special weekend.

Grr. Still out of sync.

I hope we do get a rule change out of it. I don’t fault the rider or the officials here, they are following the rules as written and the horse does not seem any worse for wear in this specific incident. But we do not need that kind of publicity.

If you’ve been around a while you can recall other riders who in their younger years have made questionable decisions with outcomes far worse than this one. Here’s hoping the internet drama dies down and we can move forward having learned something from this.

I almost can’t imagine having a horse that you’ve bred and raised do this event. That is a very long road from the foaling stall to the Rolex stadium. That has to feel like such a huge accomplishment.

I think Phantom looked great and was pulling for more.

Not necessarily condoning the decision to continue on with Phantom of the Opera yesterday; however, he really did jump spectacularly in the SJ. Looked like a fun ride. Stupidly fit.

Bummer that Jessica had a few rails :frowning:

Well POTO just jumped a beautiful clear round. That was a weird scrambly thing yesterday but the horse really didn’t seem fazed by it, his ears were up and off he went.
