Corvette!!
whew Karma is h-o-t-t-o-g-o. I thought James Alliston rode well and with tact.
Ugh, that argument coming down to the last fence surely cost Karma that one second time penalty! (Better than the probable rail if he had let go however.)
Where did they say he was from originally?
Good save, Emily!
she did a circle but she didn’t cross her path did she?
Oh, Corvette. They would have been clear without that!
Corvett: sheesh, you call these jumps? Raise them 6 inches, then we will talk.
LOL … I was about to ask yesterday if Corvett is always that fussy with his head but then I heard he’s 18 and thought “Oh, I get it.” These experienced opinionated ones are awesome. And will put you in your place.
Corvette heard all the talk about his “advanced age” yesterday and said Mom, hope you packed your sticky breeches - hold my damn beer.
does she ever just go to a jumper show with him? I think he would jump the moon!
Caramia is another homebred to make it all the way to the Rolex stadium.
Nothing easy about sitting on that deer jump. He could probably win a puissance, but the spreads would get him, I think.
I’ve noticed that the live scoring on Show Grounds Live is usually a bit ahead of CMH. Maybe they do that so they can cut it off if something bad happens.
I’m sure they intentionally delay, if anything objectionable happens they can prevent it from being transmitted. It also just takes more time for all the bits of the video feed to get processed and sent from point A to point B vs. the text on a web page.
I think I have a worse commentary lag now than I had earlier.
Et Hop Du Matz looks a little tired today, but keeping the rails up so far.
So impressive Harry and Et Hop are the only ones to finish on their dressage score!
interested to see stats on that, does it typically happen once every year, or once every 3 or 4 years?
What a super weekend for Boyd!
