Well that sounds like something I’ll be making for my own at home viewing!
Ohh the Elderberry liqueur comes in a cut glass decorative vase bottle . I have a few bottles on hand makes nice house party gifts, birthdays, TY’s Christmas - well … any occasion…
Yes the cocktail is spectacular. @ Syrynx The sit down patio bar in the shopping across from the Rolex stadium serves it - last I know of. I don’t see that area mapped for the Trade Fair???
Yeah, St Germain is worth it for the bottle alone
I am most definitely going to be looking for this. Thank you
Close enough now I can start to believe the weather forecast.
Friday looks like it’s going to be a bit damp - haha. Do they do rain delays or just ride right through it?
Unless there’s lightning they do not stop. I was wishing I picked a different sport last Saturday when my horse refused to trot toward a warm up fence because it was raining so hard we couldn’t see where we were going. My SO races cars and they cancel or delay for any rain at all.
1 pass sold - 1 still available!
We still have the 2 preferred parking passes for sale - $150 each! They are sold out and the event price was $250. Can text 248-376-5611 and Venmo works. We can overnight or bring them to the event.
Sorry for all the newbie questions… is there reentry rules for stadium seating? Not sure how much dressage I can watch straight but would like to see some of the 4* & 5* rides.
Showjumping jog livestream is up on FB for those who are interested! (thanks to Marigold for the correction )
You can come and go to your seats as you please.
Note that this is the horse inspection for the show jumping, not the eventing.
Thanks! I grabbed the link then got distracted before I could start watching. I will edit my post above
I am not getting any sound except wind, and there are no graphics so I have no idea who I am looking at. But it looks nice.
It says there is no audio for today’s jog but there will be in subsequent jogs.
Here is a question about competitive fairness.
So there are 35 entries in the 5* and they are splitting the dressage over two days. With so few entries why not do it in one day? I looked at how they schedule and if they started dressage at 8AM as they are doing with the 4* and took a 20 minute break every 9 horses, they would be done by 1:36 in the afternoon. If they did that then all combinations in the 5* would have a full day off between dressage and XC, not some with a full day and some with none.
It’s not an issue of having too many dressage tests to judge as Badminton will probably be doing 35 a day for two days.
Do you mean have the 4* horses go one day and the 5* go the other, all in one day?
Does anyone know yet what color shirts volunteers are wearing this year? We are packing and want to make sure we are helpful AND cute while doing our duties.
my guess is that it is for spectators and vendors.
many people will have purchased tickets for only Friday - Sunday, expecting to see some big name 5* dressage tests on Friday.
Right now the 4* runs in the mornig and 5* in the afternoon. You could run 5* dressage on thursday and start the 4* dressage on thursday afternoon. Then finish 4* dressage on friday.
Course photos posted on Facebook! The turn from the ditch and brush at 11 to the water at 12 looks sharp, but could also be a depth perception in the photos thing.
