Kudos to Ann Romney

Yes, I suppose if I didn’t have to work full time and could afford to import horses and have Olympic-level trainers put the moves on them, as well as have a private lesson anytime I wanted, I would still be plunking around training level.[/QUOTE]

I’ve been broke and at other times quite comfortable.

The thing about being broke for me was the worry, always trying to get the most for the money you have. A spilled bottle of Show Sheen is a tragedy. A clinic or even a lesson is a luxury.

If I went to a show or event it was because I trained my cheap yellow or pink horse, cleaned the tack, loaded and drove the trailer. I didn’t have a groom to braid or a coach to help. At the end of the day I packed up everything and drove the trailer home and cleaned up after.

Money doesn’t ride the horse but it sure makes the other things easier…

Who brought up Ann ‘let them eat cake’ Romney? Is it about Mitt and being president? Let them fade to gray, please. He lost me at the Florida restaurant, taped by the waiter, where he dumped on the rest of us.
