thanks for the link! I got involved with something and actually forgot till I saw that post and link, so I only saw about half, but since everyone passed, all is good.
All the 5* horses accepted; Andrew McConnon and Ferrie’s Cello withdrew before presenting.
I was a little disappointed by the riders’ outfits - not too entertaining this year. My choices for the best dressed are David Doel and Sydney Solomon.
I thought all the women who wore dresses looked awful, no exceptions.

All accepted (even with some very frisky trips down the strip, lol).
The announcer said that Ferries Cello (Andrew McConnon) would not be presenting.
Nemesis literally shoved James Allison off the strip and into the decorative pots. I think there will be some stupendously humorous moments captured on film. Looking forward to the sand dancing!

So happy everyone who presented was accepted! Daytona Beach 8 looks ready to skip dressage and go straight to XC. Is Thomas always as angry as he was on the jog strip today?
With regards to XC, I like the course at first glance! Will definitely be interesting. I’m personally intrigued at the choice to label the third element of the Normandy bank separately. Seems kind for a 5*.

I just went thru the online course walk, and is it just me that hasn’t been to a live one for many years, or do all those rails just look skinny and bare? Not that the difficulty is lessened, but they just look really breakable to me. Is that the point or am I crazy?

Is the interactive XC map available only on mobile devices? I clicked on it on the Land Rover Kentucky site and the app would only load on a mobile device. If that is the case that is downright stupid.
I clicked on it and it worked for my on my laptop. A couple of fences have video of the fences and descriptions of how to ride it.
I’ll be away from the computer in the morning. Can someone start a new thread for dressage? And then we can have a fresh one for XC.
May be worth a nee thread but my question is do they get more entries in the future. At 38 entries there is not enough time to get around the course and see sll the jumps?
