Happy dreaming!

Thatâs bigger than my house and stables put together! I wish there were more photos of the horse areas!
I sure wouldnât want to be the one responsible for sweeping, thatâs a lot of sweeping. Thatâs a huge place. Falls a little short on the wash racks, no paddocks, and no indoor! Guessing from the looks itâs for polo ponies and their riders?
I agree on the polo facility. Perhaps intended for polo events rather than permanent homes for the ponies? Sure looks like south Florida, with the drainage ponds, etc.
What I wonder is how something that big and fancy hasnât gotten any press already. Somebody approves permits, some neighbor sees the construction, someone talks at a cocktail party. Somewhere someone has said âOMG, so and so has gone over the top on a BARNâ. So who does this thing belong to?
One hundred thirty stalls? Oh, good. Now we all know about a place that has room for a rescue horse or two.
Sorry, but, what vast and soulless-looking barn, despite the woodwork and palm trees. It looks like a self-storage facility with nice beams. IMHO, and to each their own, of course.
Lordy!
Has a wine room, wow, what a feature!
HumâŠ
Its a pretty building. Given the choice - I donât think I would want to house my horse in it.
I like my horse to have WINDOWS at the very least - last think I want them to do is have to stare at 4 walls all day.
That is why I keep my horse in a âmare motelâ - where she can socialize with her neighbors, SEE outside from each direction. My boarding barn offers âinsideâ stalls, but many of them either have one small window, or no outside view at all.
I see it as living in a windowless cubical - not my first choice.
Also - I wonder what the benefit is of having one gigantic barn - over several smaller ones? I think my boarding barn probably has a 100+ stalls on site, but they are distributed amount several stables - many facilities in California are set up like this.
Seems like someone wants this kept private- the video in the first link is gone, and the link Manni01 posted leads to a dead page.
hum⊠I did notice that the photo link wasnât working, and I see that the video is gone too like you pointed out!
The builders still has some photos up though (and the video really didnât show all that much)

and here is a better aerial (I guess they do have turn outs!)

(these are the best, check out the wine bar, the BBQ area, the lounges, the custom saddle stands with hand hammered copper!)
Seems that there is a âValiente Poloâ team - maybe this is their digs.
Appsolute - I believe you are correct. Those saddle stands also have a âJâ on them. Rob Jornayvaz is the team captain of Valiente, and also quite wealthy, owning a major part of a mining company in Colorado.
He is breeding polo ponies and here is a video discussing his 130 horses and some shots of the barn.

If there is a video on that link pages, it does not work.
âSorry Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here.â
Man! Love the wide aisle ways, high ceilings and wood!

What the heck! "Sorry, the page you were looking for cannot be found. "
All that water around the place, looks like bug heaven.
Why do those horses need buckets strapped on their heads ?
It looks more like a big flash toy garage.
I am saying this in my completely non-envious voice
âdahling, that place screams nouveau richeâ
I like some of the comments on the page:
the horses would be happier with a smaller barn and the land used for turnout instead.
itâs not really about the horses, is it?
hope they could get the horses out if thereâs a fire.
with all that space they should have built an indoor.
or an outdoor.
etc.
My first thought is that such a large place would require a lot of people. Too many. I go to the barn to see horses (and a cat or two).

One hundred thirty stalls?.[/QUOTE]
and If I read correctlyâŠtwo feed rooms⊠hope they use golf carts or public transportation as that would be like running down to the corner market for food
But they do have enough wash bays for about 80 head⊠their mother must have been a cleaning nut
