the video was a vast improvement on the race comment of “Solvent got off slow at the start and never improved”,
She did appear to be ambling along at the back in every frame where you could see her, leaving me to replay the finish 4 times, to assure my eye that this was indeed ,Solvent, coming up fast, way outside, as though having recovered from the scrimmage at the start, she remembered to run.
A bit of a rough race for a maiden, maiden.
I think you must have been looking at the wrong horse - Solvent (#4) was never on the outside, and she definitely was never “coming up fast”. The only horse she beat was basically being eased in the stretch. She was even beaten by a horse who bolted to the far outside on the last turn and was considered to be out of the race by Tony Calo.

Good race.
Silipo looked good. In tight quarters until clear in the stretch, tried hard.
Solvent is entered in a 15K, one mile, maiden claiming race with a 24 K purse, on 3/27, post time 5:55.
OK! Need the sleuths again. What happened to that entry?
Silipo on 4/6, is entered in a 27K. 7 furlong, Allowance race.
Solvent is entered at Keeneland in a 54K, one and one-sixteenth mile maiden claiming race on 4/21.

Looks as tho he ran out of steam,
Solvent was sent off at 84-1 and ran to those odds, never involved and eased late.
If they want to keep on with this, she’ll need a big class drop.
