I think he was looking at the ditch and forgot to pick up his hind end.
Looked like Mai Baum just saw that ditch on the other side and paused mid jump
Looked like he was initially game for the long distance then looked down at the ditch and changed his mind halfway over. Glad the frangible was there, or it wouldâve been a lot uglier
38.8 for Tamie will put them just outside the top 20 at the end of the day.
Alright, Liz. Come on!
Exactly.
Literally just learned this from watching all those old videos. If the horse sees the ditch or other element they sometimes forget to use their hind end so you have to make sure to keep the hind end engaged before the fence.
Still a great finish for Tami and his first 5*.
Even with the time she would have been in the lead, so that sucks. But the clip did its job and kept them safe, and Maibaum doesnât know he wasnât clear. Still a solid round.
What happened with Doug?
Wow that was a fall for Jennie Brannigan glad they look okay!
I was obsessively analyzing this! I believe it was. Very strange and for the first few mins I was certain he didnât have one on!
Runout at last water for Doug
She looks dazed as hell
Bummer
Ugh, so gutted for Tami and for Jennie.
Can anyone explain why in the live scoring Tim Price is below Boyd on On Cue? They are both on 28.2, but Tim made the time, so while they are tied for 5th, Tim should be listed above Boyd, right?
I like that Deniro Z is decked out in the sheepskin - boots, breastplate, bellboots and all.
Tie breaker it closest to optimum time on XC?
Clayton with a run out at the out of the head of the lake.
Ties are broken by closest to the optimum time - over or under. Boyd was 3 seconds away and Tim was 6
